I really like the metal band and the magnetic clasp. The rubber one that comes with this fit bit had started breaking out my wrist and I don’t have that issue with the metal band. It also makes it look more professional. The magnet is strong and doesn’t slip while working out. I run, lift weights, do taekwondo and yoga and it stays completely in place.
Sometimes the metal can be a little pinchy on the skin but it’s not awful or often. I’m really disappointed in ho quickly the rose gold plating came off. Within 3 hours of initial wear, the plating had already started to run off. After wearing it for a week, the plating is completely gone on the magnetic clasp and marginally rubbed off on the band. I will wear it til it breaks but I won’t order from this company again.

I really like this wrist band, works great, easy to take on and off. The minor wear and tear on the magnet and actual wrist band is what I would expect after daily use, but the damage to the top connector is very disappointing, especially since it’s not from dropping the watch but wear and tear from resting your wrist on surfaces, housework, etc. Thank goodness it was inexpensive, I got what I paid for…

I bought the smaller size. So many of these replacement bands do not come in two sizes. I’ve tried the larger size and the band wrapped around so much it touched the watch itself. I bought this exact band before from another seller; it lasted about 3 years . The color (champagne gold) is good although it does turn grayer over time. I really dislike the Fitbit Charge 5’s connection method; eventually the band will loosen and come apart at the top of the watch (this has been reported by many people), which is why a bought a replacement. This one is not coming loose.

Love the easy on/off of the band for showers, swimming, baths. Stainless steel doesn’t damage my skin, which is quite sensitive. You know it’s time to replace it is when the tiny magnet gets loose. I’ve had my Fitbit for over 5 years and this is my third band.
