We are using this timer to keep track of time in our studio. The timer works great, the LED screen is bright and very functional. The remote control makes it easy to set and we love the clock feature as well.

This gym interval timer has become an unexpected essential in our home! My 16-year-old son, who’s suddenly obsessed with fitness, has completely taken it over. Between swim team, football practice, and his own circuit training at home, this timer keeps him on track. He loves the clear, large display and the easy-to-use functions. It’s been incredibly helpful for timing his workouts, rest intervals, and even his swimming laps. While the rest of us haven’t quite mastered its complexities, it’s definitely motivating him to stay active and reach his fitness goals. If you have a budding athlete in the family, this timer is a great investment!

This timer is smaller than I expected – yes, I saw the dimensions, but it’s still smaller than I expected. The fact that an 11″ screen isn’t a 26″ screen isn’t on the manufacturer, but there’s a lot of bezel and a lot of dead space on the LCD screen. Overall, the digits are about the same size as the ones on my alarm clock. Even for my home gym I’d really prefer something larger – I haven’t found a good place to mount this that I can see it from both the floor and from inside my rack.
For count up, count down, and basic intervals it’s fine – you can input the length of time for effort, rest, and total circuit time simply enough. Given that there’s a full sized remote and all kinds of function buttons on it I’d have expected lots of advanced functions as well. As far as I can tell it’s pretty much the basics, but I’ll admit that I gave up fooling with it after 20 or 30 min. I may just be spoiled, but I’m used to being able to set things like a warning timer to let you know there’s 5, 10, or 15 seconds left in the round, etc. If this does that, I sure haven’t figured out how. This more or less replaces my 20 year old gymboss, but almost any phone app is easier to program and has more functionality.
The construction is solid, and the LCD is nice and bright. The alarm is very loud. The button is a nice touch, and my kids would have *loved* it when they were younger and were still watching the original Ninja Warrior every day. I was hoping for more, like the ability to program sets of intervals, etc, (and this may do that, but I’m sure I’ll never know if it does). That may have been unrealistic. There’s nothing wrong with this unit, it’s just not what I was expecting, so I’ll try to score appropriately based on what it is. That said, I pretty much use this as a clock and use apps on my phone for interval training.

This timer was everything I expected and more. I thought the numbers might prove too small but because of their brightness they are easy to see from more then 50 feet away. Something about them that I found very useful was the remote. It’s the size of a typical TV remote but it has a large distance range. I went out 150 feet from the unit and the controller still worked. The unit has all the functions you could possibly need. Clock, timer, countdown and stopwatch. stopwatch. The unit came with a well written set of directions The remote is well designed with the many buttons labeled logically. How hard is it to understand that up means count up from zero and down count down from a set value. I know it sounds trivial but I appreciate it when the buttons are actually labeled clearly with their function.
I’m going to be using this time speakers (3 minute limit) at a public hearing and appreciate the sound it makes when you count down to zero. The buzzer can be disabled if you want. It also comes with a separate control button to start and stop it..

I’ve wanted a timer like this for a long time for my home gym but recently I also started to want one for time management purposes. When I saw the product page for this it seemed to tick all the boxes, it’s a large display, it has a remote, it has a manual button you can whack to start/stop timers, it can tell the time when it’s not being used as a timer.
For the most part, I’m very satisfied with the timer. Really my only complaint is the complication of hitting 4 or 5 different buttons to be able to set a custom timer, i.e. if you want to set a timer for 33 minutes. After a few days I got used to it but it’s kind of mind blowing that there isn’t a singular button for it.
In the manual there is the mention of quite a few addition features that sound nice but aren’t included with this version of the clock. I assume the manufacturer sells an even more feature packed version you may want to seek out if you’re someone who needs every feature possible. Even with those extra features missing this is still great for my home gym.

Boy, have I needed a timer for my workouts. This is such an upgrade from trying to set a timer on my phone. It is big and easy to read, even with my Boomer eyes. I found it easy to set up and easy to use once I learned all the nuances. What a difference it makes to be able to time rounds and to have the countdown feature to get started. As a 72 year-old newbie Crossfitter, I say this one is a keeper.

I got this to use in our workout room at my job. It was a little difficult to set up and I wish the numbers were larger and easier to read. It’s not super great quality, but it does actually time, so it gets the job done for sure.
