The OnePlus 2 watch is an excellent and (with the right bracelet) beautiful watch which has all the important functions and facilities one could reasonably need at an astonishingly modest price.
I have had both cheap and premium branded smart watches over the years, including the Apple, Ticwatch Pro 5 and Samsung Galaxy 5 Pro and they have all disappointed in one way or another.
With its superb battery, amazing clarity and original design, the OnePlus 2 Radiant Steel is better than all of them with regard to quality, efficiency, styling, charging speed, battery life and value for money.
What’s more, the all important OHealth app that goes with this watch is, unlike most other apps, a wonderful piece of accurate software, as elegant in it’s simplicity as it is efficient in it’s methodology and design.
Quite honestly, for just over £200, you cannot and will not do better.

El reloj es increíble, dura 4 días su batería hasta 5 o inclusive más de una semana si está en modo ahorro, es hermoso simplemente

The watch looks nice, has an excellent screen, and is very well made. However, the website description is wrong. It doesn’t use WearOS, it requires OHealth. I am not sure if that is a problem but the description should be accurate.
I have been wearing it for a week and found that the fitness app has a couple of problems. The heart rate during exercise is way off. It reads way too high. During a recent inside walk it warned me that my heart rate was 196. I checked it with pulse meter and it said the rate was 106. Also, during an elliptical workout it said I took 1732 steps, but my step count only increased by about 300.

I use an Apple Watch Ultra for one reason – it’s among the best at doing what I need a smartwatch to do: be a fitness tracker, general health tracker, and alarms/messages/email appliance. Since I have an iPhone thru my work, it made sense and Android Smart watches weren’t that mature for me to consider one. Until now.
I’m not a Galaxy Watch fan, and the Pixel Watch 2 is too small. Enter the OnePlus Watch 2, and it’s great for what I want. Great size and terrific materials with stainless steel casing and sapphire crystal display. The processor setup is quick and snappy and helps with the battery life, which is simply outstanding. I can easily get 3 days of use with using the sleep tracking, GPS during walks and bike rides with Strava, and the always on display turned off. Raise to wake works well enough that I never need to have it on. That’s better than my AWU and the Pixel Watch and Galaxy Watch.
The GPS is fast and accurate, the heart rate and SpO2 tracking is good and the sleep tracking is the only weak spot – it’s not as accurate as the AWU but the sleep score produced each night does feel right – so if it’s low, I usually feel poorly rested and if it’s high, I usually feel well rested. So there’s that.
At $299, what you get is easily the best value in the WearOS ecosystem hands down. I really enjoy mine and recommend it to anyone who likes a larger smartwatch and wants a smartwatch that prioritizes battery life, good screen, and is okay with the fitness features as they are. OnePlus gets an A+ from me.

I have been looking for a decent Android Wear watch for a while. This is my 4th purchase, and I am very happy with this. My other watches, I am lucky if I make it to bedtime without the thing going into battery saver mode, which is usually only possible on days I don’t do any workouts. With this watch, I have been able to easily get 3 days, which now does add the sleep tracking functionality.
The heartrate monitor seems fairly accurate, getting within a couple of point of my chest strap monitor, which is good enough for me to not worry about putting on the chest strap anymore. Likewise, the SP02, seems to match my dedicated one for my finger. I can’t gauge how well the sleep tracking is doing but I am not too concerned there. I am a little suspect of the step tracking. It tends to be higher than I would expect, but I don’t have any reliable pedometers left to compare to. As with any wrist mounted pedometer, it suffers if you are pushing lawn mower, stroller, or shopping cart.
Looks wise, the watch is pretty nice looking and could easily be used as a dressier watch with a nice leather or steel band on it. It is a little heavier than my sport watch, but with a nice nylon band, I don’t notice that when the watch is snug.

EDIT: 5/18 – I should have mentioned one of the reasons I gravitated toward this watch – Google’s Assistant. Press & Hold upper right button and it activates. Realized how much I use this feature. For example, earlier this week, while walking dogs late. I had a walk workout enabled. I activated assistant to set a reminder for me, then had it turn outdoor lights on… while away… and barely interrupting the podcast I was listening to. My earbuds don’t reliably bring up the assistant upon activation. Not having to touch my phone is fantastic, when your hands may be occupied with other activities. Combined with outstanding battery life this is a winner.
Purchased the stainless steel, green band watch.
Incredible battery life
Like the title stated, I don’t normally do reviews but I felt strongly about this watch. Like many, I have been waiting to purchase a smart watch but none have ‘ticked’ the boxes I looked for – manly a watch which has a traditional look of jewelry, stainless steel with sapphire crystal, great battery life, with wear OS 4 and plenty of memory [if I wanted to side load audio].
Let’s note the caveats: It is larger than most. It is not for the dainty or faint of heart. I am a male and this is the same size or smaller than several other watches I wear such as Seiko and Tag. Most females will not want this watch, it is too large for them. It also doesn’t do some things for females, such as pregnancy tracker. It also lack BP tracking. The app does not have a cloud option [that I know of] and is simpler than others. Also, there is not LTE option available.
This watch is amazing. I wanted a watch which looked traditional. My last watch was black and as much as I love its look, I wanted something more traditional for work [though the green band is interesting at the office] or play. This watch was introduced with a $50 discount. There was nothing which compared to that price available. I could have written it off as a simple mistake if I didn’t like it.
But I turned out loving this watch and it is always with me.
I normally don’t care for ‘always on’ display and chose ‘wake when raise’ or just leave off. I find activating the screen to be so trivial, I most often leave it that way. I’ve turned the High Performance Graphics option on, this seems to eliminate any stuttering. I have not seen any battery life impact, regardless of warning. Buttery smooth operation. Almost any app you need is built-in. Beautiful watch faces and there are plenty to choose from. You will notice this is the same watch as OPPO [orange band], the parent company of OnePlus.
I’ve had this watch 2 months now and it almost never comes leaves my wrist, except when showering or charging. I have showered with the watch and believe you can swim with it. I just prefer to take if off out of habit and clean the band because it is on my wrist otherwise. The band is excellent and I wish I could purchase others as well. The band is very soft and, with a tight grip, I don’t notice the watch is on. It ALWAYS gives me 4+ days between charges, so I haven’t had to charge it much. It charges so fast, it is never a burden. With a little searching you can find charger pucks available third party. I purchased several, and put the original away, since I was concerned it would get lost anyway.
It’s easy to change the bands. I purchased a brown leather third party band which is a striking combination. I’ve used it only occasionally because I love the feel of the original silicon band so much.
Sleep tracking is accurate, as is the activity tracking for me [though it may not compare to a Garmin, etc]. It looks great and it’s tough. Two months in and it still looks brand new… I expect this out of all my watches.
Sorry for the long review. It has been that good for me, though.
OnePlus hit it out of the park with this watch. I’m so pleased, I am looking to move from my Samsung Galaxy phone to the OnePlus 12 because I like this watch so much.
