I use the OTF burn band and these straps go on in a way that is mostly black (imagine the strap inside out) and orange barely peaks out if you pull it enough. That’s dependent on your arms though. I was hoping that the full band material is orange or green, not just one side. Also, this band is not the same material. It’s not as stretchy as the original and it feels a little stiff. I don’t recommend these bands.

These are a great replacement and will last me a long time. They are durable and washable. Sizing is variable and will fit just about anyone.

These were bought to replace the 3 year old strap for my Orange Theory “OT Beat Burn” heartrate monitor. I had the genius idea that I would swap out my band based on how I was feeling that day (Green Day or Orange Day or just use the generic black strap). That was a stupid idea for a variety of reasons, so we’ll just ignore that and move on.
But this isn’t about my workout routine, it’s about the product so on to the review.
First, the good:
– The build quality is actually very good. The stitching is solid and they are holding up at least as well as the original so far.
– The Velcro holds very well; I don’t have to worry about it coming undone.
– The strap is solid and has a little give/stretch to it, but very little, it’s as tight at the end of the workout as it was at the beginning.
The “meh”:
– They “fit”, but the ends are ever so slightly wider than the band slots on the monitor. This is good and bad. It prevents the strap from coming completely off the monitor unless you mean for it to…but it means you have to either monkey with it when putting it on your arm, or you leave it mostly attached and work the monitor up your arm. If you have big biceps (I don’t) , this isn’t going to work for you most likely.
And now for The Bad:
– The quality control from a specifications standpoint on these seems to be non-existent. All 3 are a different overall length and like I mentioned in above, the ends are actually wider than the slot on the monitor to hold the band. The fact that they are all different lengths means I can really only use one comfortably, which makes the one I use more expensive than buying the brand name from the OTF web store.
Final thoughts:
– They function, and if your arm size works with them, they could be a good deal.
– I’m irritated that the ends aren’t tapered, not gonna lie.
– I’m really irritated that I can’t use 2 of the 3 because they are too small (and the large one is even shorter than the description states).
If you can’t use all 3, this really isn’t a great deal pricewise. They are solidly constructed, but that’s only part of what I need…if I can’t use it, it doesn’t matter.
Personally, I would not get these again due to the QC issues and the fact that it’s more expensive for what I can use than the original would have been.

In the photos, orange is the band from this set, the black frayed one is my original that came with my otf monitor.
Fits my monitor and does the job! Seems to be the same material as my original. The only thing is that the length is short. I am 170lbs and have average sized biceps, and I have it on the loosest part of the velcro. If my arms was any bigger, this strap wouldn’t fit.
