I really like this gadget. It’s very solid, and whisper quiet.
Throughout the day, I find that I am regularly pedaling without consciously deciding to do so. I guess I just slip my feet into the pedals and start exercising, which I can’t complain about at all.
The display is kind of useless… For one thing, it’s under the desk – haha – and it’s also a ‘black-on-gray’ LCD which is hard to make out, given that it’s a lot dimmer under the desk than in the rest of the room. The display also shows highly whimsical Kcal estimates, suggesting that an hour of light pedaling burns a whopping 500-600 Kcal (which is pure fantasy). A more likely figure would be between 150-250 Kcal, depending on the intensity and the pedal RPMs. But since I don’t really rely on the display for much of anything – except for time – it doesn’t bother me very much.
The display by default is cumulative, so it continues to add your time, Kcalories, and ‘mileage’ (I’ve got more than a dozen hours on this thing, and my desk hasn’t moved a single inch, so not sure how we’re calculating mileage – lol). It also defaults to a ‘scan’ setting, showing you values for each of the tracked parameters for just a few seconds. You can press the button under the display to lock it onto any one of the features (like time, for me). You can also ‘reset’ the display by holding the button down for a few seconds. This way, I can get a cumulative total time figure for each day. The ‘mileage’ also resets to zero, but there is a default cumulative odometer figure that will show you the total ‘miles’ put onto the machine.
Interested buyers should note that your desk or table – if standard 29″-30″ in height – may be too low, and you may find yourself banging your knees. A while back I bought a ‘standing desk’ so that I could vary my work position and posture during long days at the computer. It is very well suited to use with the pedal exerciser, since I find I need to raise my desktop to about 31″ to avoid banging my knees while pedaling. If I couldn’t raise and lower the desk surface, I don’t think I would be able to use the exerciser in this context – but it would be great for the living room, pedaling through Netflix… I told my wife that I am considering buying a second exerciser for that purpose (because I don’t want the hassle of bringing this one home at the end of the day, just to pack it back to the office the following morning).
The pedal straps are quite difficult to adjust, but I don’t think they are really very necessary so after my initial assembly, I have just left them set up as they are.

So far sturdy easy to use peddler. Needed for a knee surgery to keep knee active. The peddle throw range of course is not the same as an actual cycler but adequate for an under-the-table model. It has a decent clearance from off the floor compared to many. And for average height (5′ 10″) this peddler provides enough of a challenge to get cardio going! I can position it closer to my chair for a different work out feel more applied to upper thighs/ deeper knee bend. This is one of the better peddlers available!! The magnetic flywheel provides a VERY smooth realistic peddle feel! Nice built-in handle to move as needed. The basic model provides a decent workout especially for the home bound – don’t bother with the bluetooth version! This peddler easy to assemble – youtube videos available. The only downside that it uses kilometers instead of miles in the progress display!

Having used three pedal exercisers over the past year for total knee replacement surgeries on both knees, I can say without a doubt that the Ancheer pedal exerciser is the best available for my needs. A previous pedal exerciser was very good for several months. However, I pedal long and hard for knee strengthening and broke the medal flywheel on the unit! Tried to replace it with another product and that was a total waste of money. I’ve now had the Ancheer unit for about a month and this product is exactly what I need to regain agility, mobility, strength and stamina.
The Ancheer pedal exerciser arrived as scheduled, was easy to assemble even for me (75 yr. old female) and works great for my home cycling between PT sessions at the rehab facility. I use it for 20 mins. at a time for about two or three sessions each day. And, it’s easy to adjust the tension so you feel like you are getting a good workout. Yes, the unit is a little heavier (18 lbs.) than others I’ve had. But, that’s what I like about it as it doesn’t shift or move at all on the low pile rug where I use it. (For those who have commented about it being too heavy to move around, may I suggest that you find a location where it can stay put so either the senior or a family member doesn’t have to move it back and forth.) The tension adjustment wheel is a little tight to turn, but that makes it secure for the actual tension you want to use. . .no shifting whatsoever. The pedals were easy to attach with the enclosed tool. I can’t speak to any comments regarding switching the pedals from foot to hand types as I will only use it for feet so won’t encounter any problems there. Also, I don’t even use the pedal straps as the grid on the pedals is large, firm and deep enough that my slippers or shoes don’t shift at all. As for the digital readout, that’s not anything I can address either as I don’t use it since I only cycle for timed sessions and a kitchen timer works just as well for my personal needs. I don’t even have any batteries in the digital readout! Oh, and did I mention just how quiet. . .almost completely silent. . .the unit is?
After going through two other pedal exercisers which were more affordable, I decided to splurge on the Ancheer unit and I’m so glad I did. It is well worth the higher cost for such a great floor unit pedal exerciser product. Give it a try and I think you will find it as great a buy for the price as I have.

I have only used the exerciser 3 times since I received it. In this time, I have noticed an increase in my strength and balance. My ankles are usually tight feeling with a decrease in movement. After using the exerciser, I have noticed that my ankles are more movable and less stiff. It is super quiet and easy to use. The feature of forward and reverse uses different types of mobility. I love it.
