***Update: the watch battery has been failing now after just 6 weeks of use, lasting only a bit over 24 hours before being depleted. We’ve now charged it zero to full twice in this weekend alone. Another issue is that the time shown is wrong, like the watch froze for an hour or two and then started counting again. Sync fixes this but it’s annoying. Rating now updated to one star to reflect the issues above.
We’ve been using this smartwatch for several weeks. The watch itself is bright, clear, and easy to read. The app provides useful info but isn’t critical beyond the initial set up. The biggest downside is the need for regular charging once every few days which is hard for a kid to keep track of! This is a replacement for the Garmin Vivofit Jr 3 which has a year-long battery life but costs substantially more.
The watch does it’s job at being reasonably sized for small wrists, having an accurate pedometer, multiple alarms, and easy to read screen.

Nice kids fitness tracker, but after several months, the watch would no longer charge. Contacted Biggerfive customer service and was sent a replacement promptly. Great customer service!

My kids love these trackers. I wanted something really simple that didn’t have distracting games (which they wouldn’t be allowed to have at school), and this tracker fit the bill. The app can be a bit buggy, but overall our experience with it has been very positive. My kids can set goals and track their progress over time, which they enjoy. The biggest flaw with the product is that the wristband breaks really easily. My kids – 8 and 11 and fairly gentle users – both had their bands break within a couple months. I contacted customer support and they were super responsive (they wrote back within a couple hours!), and sent out replacement bands right away. They even sent one extra in case it breaks again. I think it’s a design flaw of their band, but as long as they’re willing to replace them when they break, I would defiitely recommend this product and would purchase it again.

My son loves this! It is a good size for a child—I’ve tried others that ended up being extremely large and bulky on a child’s wrist. This is a great size. Easy to pair, app is easy for my son to use. Charging is also easy. Would recommend!

We got this watch for my 7yr old who wanted to start tracking his steps and also to call me out when I give a 10 min warning only to say it’s time to go 5 mins later, lol! He has loved it a lot, especially that he didn’t have to take it off when water activities happened at summer camp as he was afraid of losing it. The charge holds up really well! It took him a bit to get into the habit of charging it before it completely died, but he only needed to do it every 5 days or so. The only con is that the silicone band recently broke, and it’s not even been 6 mos. HOWEVER the customer service was excellent. I reached out and they responded quickly. I showed them a photo of the broken band and they are sending a replacement out asap. I was going to wait to post the review until after getting the band, but I don’t want to forget and then not give props to a company willing to back their product and make things right when needed.

As our grandchildren have gotten older, their participation in organized sports has increased. This has resulted in them having a far greater interest in fitness and nutrition in general. This versatile fitness tracker offers an economical way for kids to monitor their activities in the same way their parents and older siblings do.
The watch comes nicely packaged; the only accessory included is the charging cord. It is quite striking in appearance and is suitably sized to accommodate a child’s wrist. An adult’s help will almost certainly be required to set up a smartphone account. The information portals provided to the child are appropriately straightforward although again, dependent on age, some initial explanations may be required. I love the fact that the watch is waterproof; it’s just one less thing to worry about when we’re at the lake or the pool. A stopwatch feature is always popular with kids! The battery life is close to what is advertised (five to seven days) which is quite convenient; one charge will usually cover the school week. Our grandkids really like the step and heart rate monitors; calorie and sleep monitoring doesn’t interest them so much (though it’s nice for their parents to see). The activity modes are nice although, of course, your child’s activities won’t necessarily match those available.
Our only concern about the watch is the band. Our granddaughter struggles with it and I’m a little concerned about how well it will hold up; only time will tell.
Overall, this is a dandy little fitness tracker that encourages interest in fitness but won’t break the bank. It is visually appealing and has a lot of features kids will enjoy. Highly recommended!

I recently purchased this kids’ fitness tracker for my 9-year-old son, intrigued by its appealing price as a first-time wearable. It seemed like a smart choice for testing whether my son would enjoy wearing a fitness device. Initially, he was thrilled, especially with features like step and calorie tracking and simply being able to check the time and date on his wrist.
However, our excitement was tempered by several issues that arose during use. The fitness tracker’s interface with the iOS app proved to be a challenge. The watch face would often revert to a default setting every time it synced with the app, and on one particularly frustrating day, it failed to save any data at all. Consistently syncing his workout settings became a game of chance, which was frustrating.
Accuracy-wise, the tracker seems to overestimate steps, but we didn’t mind this much since it motivated my son to be more active. However, the limited achievements and features offered by the app were a letdown. We had hoped for more interactive and engaging elements to maintain his interest in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Comfort was another significant concern. The strap caused a rash-like reaction and irritation, and the buckle often left marks or minor cuts on his wrist overnight. These discomforts, coupled with the ongoing syncing issues, led us to return the device. It didn’t quite meet our expectations, even considering its lower price point.
In summary, while this fitness tracker holds potential as a starter watch for kids and comes at an attractive price, it needs to improve its reliability and comfort. The concept is great, but the execution needs refinement. We’ve decided to explore other options that better suit our needs. This product could be suitable for those willing to navigate its quirks, but it was a learning experience more than a lasting fit for us.

After my initial review, the company reached out to help me troubleshoot. When nothing worked, they mailed a replacement. We would order again because of their excellent customer service.
We had this for about five months working great. We took our first swim and it completely stopped working. It says waterproof, but I have a very sad little girl because the screen won’t do anything now.

One of my granddaughters has a similar fitness watch by the same company. She loves it! This versatile fitness tracker offers an economical way for her to monitor her activities in the same way her parents do. As a result, she has developed a far greater interest in fitness and nutrition in general.
The watch makes an excellent gift! It comes nicely packaged with a small instruction manual and the required charging cord. My granddaughters describe Its appearance as “really cool”. The band is quite thin and suitably sized to accommodate a child’s wrist. An adult’s help will almost certainly be required to set up a smartphone account. The information portals provided to the child are appropriately straightforward although again, dependent on age, some initial explanations may be required.Happily, the watch is waterproof; it’s just one less thing to worry about in summer when everyone’s at the lake or the pool. The stopwatch feature is a real winner; it’s amazing the number of things you can find to time when you have a stopwatch! The battery life is close to what is advertised (five to seven days); one charge will usually cover the school week. The step and heart rate monitors are the ones that really interest the kids; calorie and sleep monitoring isn’t nearly as intriguing (though it’s nice for their parents to see). The activity modes are great although, of course, your child’s activities won’t necessarily match up with those available. The built in vibrator alarm is a handy feature, it can help organize a child’s life while also making them feel a bit more grown up.
While I had a few initial concerns about the durability of the watch band, so far it has held up well. Both children and adults need to be aware of the need to keep the watch charged to avoid data loss and the need to reset the watch.
As I’ve already mentioned, this watch has been a real hit! Economically priced, it encourages an interest in fitness, something all children should have. Both its features and looks are highly appealing to the younger set. Highly recommended!

Our child’s school prohibits smart watches which prompted us to buy the Bigger watch. It works fine and the watch hold battery power for several days. However, it is incredibly flimsy. The strap band tore within 1 month of wearing and now the watch portion pokes through the glued band portion. It also unsynchs from phone that results in the wrong time being displayed. Price probably reflects that lack of durabilty.

These are great for ages 7-10. Fit well and the kids love the pedometer feature and that you can add different backgrounds. No too big, sleek design, and comfortable.
