I had trouble getting the rail frame to lock into the main frame, which was ultimately because I wasn’t using enough force (I was worried I would break something). I reached out to the seller and was impressed with how quickly he responded to help with my issue. Very thorough and very patient!!! Thank you for that! I also needed to reach out to customer service at Body-Solid and was very happy with that experience as well.
Overall, the rower works beautifully. I had a Nordictrack RW500 previously. I definitely have more room on this. I’m 6’1″ and I can fully extend my legs with room to spare. It gives a great workout and is MUCH quieter than the Nordictrack. It’s extremely sturdy and very smooth. I like that the console is battery operated and nothing needs to be plugged in. The chain gives it a different feel in the stroke but it’s not unpleasant, just a gripping sensation I guess. I wish that it came with a tablet holder but that’s an easy enough add on.
I’m very happy with the R300 and would definitely recommend it!

I have used rowers at gyms before and then machine seems just as good as any I have used at the gym. It is sturdy and handles my height easily (6’1).

This is my first rower and I could not be more satisfied. I’ve been watching a lot videos and gaining knowledge on proper usage of a rower. After 3 weeks of use the feel, quality, and design keeps me rowing without remorse or concern. The display is easy to read and does not require any power source, although you may want the batteries for additional programs, tracking, etc.. I use a smart watch so no need for Bluetooth. The footprint is prefect for limited space and can easily store away in small areas of the home. It’s a commercial grade rower for under 1k from a company that knows quality and design.
