I ordered this Compact Mini Elliptical Exercise Machine by Xcelar8 to have an exercise machine at home. This mini elliptical works well as an under-desk exerciser but I was also hoping it could be used while standing as well. Unfortunately, there is no way to use this mini elliptical while standing. The listing suggests not standing on it for safety reasons but the pedals are angled to function only from a seated position, they cannot be re-aligned to a different angle to stand on them as well. I’ll use this as an under-desk exerciser but I am disappointed that I cannot use it standing as well. This mini elliptical is well-constructed, durable and does offer a wide range of speeds and exercise modes for a compact machine. As a seated exerciser this is a good quality machine.

This machine is okay. It works well for its intended purpose. However, I don’t like the fact that many features do not function independently of the remote control.
It’s best to use rechargeable batteries for the remote, because it’s essential for using the machine.

This is a great product. Came in a very professional box and instructions were easy to find. The footpads are really comfy and there are varying levels to suit you. The screen will keep you up to date on calories, distance and speed. I was watching TV and didn’t notice I was using it (however, my legs are feeling it today!). Would be great for anyone working from home or seniors looking to get in some exercise. Also good for new moms who are stuck at home.

I bought this as a present for my wife as she works from home and complains about not having enough time to do any exercise. She absolutely loves it. The handle design makes it easy to move and the fact that it is ready to use as soon as you take it out of the box is very beneficial. The remote control is perfect as it would be frustrating to have to reach down each time to change the speed. It’s also surprisingly very quiet, you wouldn’t even know it was on. Would definitely recommend.
