I LOVE THIS MACHINE. I have tried 3 different ones and this is so far superior to anything I’ve seen. Most under desk ellipticals are designed for elders who have decreased range of motion or circulation problems. They have auto and manual settings, and even 5 or more speeds- but NO TENSION, so minimal work out. I already walk my dog a hour a dog, I wanted more exercise and strengthening. Only 2 under desk ellipticals have TENSION according to my research, Desk cycle (which I once had) and Cubii. Desk cycle is ok, but this is so much better. On top of that, you get free membership to classes and they keep tract of data on phone. Its so smooth, feels like very high end machine, well made. solid.

I bit the bullet to spend the money on this model (Total Body+) and not having any regrets yet. I have Long Covid, so getting any kind of exercise while standing has been a challenge and while I won’t get into all that, I have to say that this Cubii has made it easier for me to exercise while just sitting at my desk at work so that I don’t have to do it all at once. I peddle until I get tired and stop. Then when I feel like I can do more, I do some more until I’m tired again. It’s really a great solution for those who have issues with mobility. It is also quiet, except for a weird click on the right side that feels like something isn’t adjusted right. I tried to tighten the peddle, but that didn’t remedy it. It doesn’t happen when I peddle backwards and it’s not constant, but it’s also not a deal breaker as it’s not super loud. With this said, there are some design flaws that I would change in future models.
1. The ring that holds the chair wheel is too close. You have to push the unit back far enough under the desk to be ergonomically comfortable to work, but then it’s hard to get in and out of the chair, especially if it has armrests
2. The resistance arm pulls are in a spot where you have to pull the unit out from under the desk to not drag across the edge of the desktop. Also, the price difference to have the pulls is a bit excessive. It was the reason I spent the extra money on this model, but I don’t think it was necessarily worth the price difference.
3. The cloth grab handle is on the same side as the wheels. It would be easier to transport if it were on the other side so that you can use the wheels to move it instead of having to pick it up. It’s not super heavy, but it is awkward. They would have to have a way for the peddles to lock in place when picking it up though because they would flip over carrying it the other way… likely why they put the handle on that side. Alternatively, they could put the wheels on the other side, but then it would be hard to move under the desk. Something to think about
4. This is an expensive piece of equipment and should have a way to lock it. I bought a bike lock and ran it through the cloth handle, but that can easily be cut. It should have something in it so that you can use a computer lock to attach it to the desk.
5. This one is the most obvious… why does it need to be recharged electronically when it could be charged by the peddling? 🤦♀️ They could have added both as ways to charge it so as to avoid having to crawl under the desk to plug it in, especially because it plugs into the unit at the back, not the front.
Overall, I’m happy with it, but for the price, it could use a lot of design improvements.

I bought this for my lower back problems, which I am having because of compressed nerves. It’s affecting my lower back and my legs. This is really helping. I use it when I’m watching TV or working on the computer. I had an issue that came up regarding it but the company Cubii resolved the issue. It’s quiet and smooth to pedal. The product is made very well. I bought the full body one because it’s good for working my whole body. It’s made very well. I bought a good mat with some thickness to it to put underneath the cubii so it stays in place when your pedaling. Enjoy and if your thinking about buying it, just do it, your body is worth it.

This seated Total Body Cubii pedaling machine pedals very smoothly. It is a little awkward to move but that is just the nature of these things. I wish it had a little compartment to store your USB charging cord when you are not using it. The battery power is just for lighting up the control display that shows how many strides you have done during your session and lots of other things. The display has 4 buttons below it and you can access everything from there without any confusion. When first you charge up the battery, it takes about 6 hours to charge and then the charge lasts about a month.
There is no motor to move the pedals for you. If you need one that does have a motor, there are others on the market for that like the Ellipse that I see heavily advertised on TV. (I think it is strange that they never mention the price on the ads). I find the pedals on my Cubii move easily. There are 12 levels of resistance. I just got my Cubii so I am still using level one. I bought this to aid the circulation in my legs and feet and not for strengthening my legs but it can be used for that also.
The Total Body also has two pull rings that you can use to give your upper body a workout. Each ring pulls out to about four feet. There is no adjustment for the pull strength needed to exercise using the rings. The set resistence of the rings will have given you a good workout after about 30 pulls each.
You can use the rings while you are pedaling or do the rings separately.
Register your Cubii right away before you dispose of the box. The serial number on the box was easy to find. I don’t know where the serial number is on the Cubii itself. You get a two year warranty if you register your machine on their website.
The Cubii Total Body was not cheap at $500 plus tax but I feel it is well worth the investment for me since I will use it. One suggestion I might give the manufacturer is to include a cloth cover for the Cubii with the Cubii since they say to keep dust off of it. Also providing somthing like a bright blue cover might also help you to avoid tripping over it when you are not using it. I fabricated a cover out of cardboard that helps me see it better when I am not using it.
