I’m male 270 around 6’0” I thought the bike was going to be to small, but as I put it together turned out to be just right. I would caution if someone is about 6’4,5 or 6” tall. It’s very sturdy bike and the the seat is comfortable well worth the money
Psyclaws –
I’m 6’0″, my wife is 5’3″. We’re both overweight and in need to some afternoon exercise at home.
With a couple of seat and handlebar adjustments, we both comfortably ride this bike.
Pros:
Assembly is straightforward and only takes about 30 minutes once you get all the individual pieces unwrapped (which seemed to almost take about the same amount of time, lol). Seriously, this thing comes well packaged.
All parts and the assembled bike are mostly metal and very robust. Once assembled, the bike strikes me as a compact version of something you’d find in a gym. Its thick and beefy, sturdy and robust, but seems just a little squished down to better fit in a home gym. The unique seat bar allows the seat to slide further back than you would expect, thus allowing more comfort for medium and slightly taller riders like me. Like I said, I’m 6’0″ and ride comfortably.
Keeping in line with most of the other heavy parts, the 30lb flywheel makes for a smooth ride.
The compact size with wheels on the front allow the bike to be maneuvered around the house with ease.
Cons:
The digital display and phone mount are sort of an afterthought. Cheap plastic hardware with minimal inputs and options. Distance, calories and time can all be tracked, but your tension adjustment is manual, so there are no preset courses with varying degrees of hardness. If you want to up the tension in the middle of your ride, reach down and crank that little handle on the wheel old school style. For the price, I get it though.
The metal pedals are a bit much. You’ll need shoes, always. Not that I ride barefoot, but this requires preparation and does take some of the spontaneity out of jumping on the bike and spiking your heart for the heck of it. Small potatoes though. For the most part, this is the perfect bike for our home needs.

This bike is relatively easy to assemble, is largely made of square tube or solid steel and I have had no problems with durability on that front. The resistance is easily changed and can go from hardly anything to every pedal step is wading waist deep in sunbaked molasses. The bike makes little noise as advertised, and is easily moved thanks to the wheels, even the adjustability is easy. Generally speaking, this is a very high quality bike, it is on the smaller size and emphasizes portability without sacrificing structural strength.
But there are some problems. The smart device holder is made of a plastic that I would only trust with my smartphones weight if it were in a case, and there is no way I am putting a tablet in that unless I want to sunset that techno slab. The in-built computer does work, and it is better by far than not having one at all, and there are concessions to be expected when getting a more affordable version of an already space saving, value oriented bike, etc. And I still think it should be a better device (a monochrome LED display, with touch capability even so there is no physical button to wear out), or at the very least, it could be solar powered, this thing reminds me of a calculator from 1995, it could use the same power source as one. The one button interface on the computer is both a little disappointing and a little frustrating to use, both are easily gotten past in regular use, but the user experience could elevated far beyond the bad to neutral range, and firmly into the good to great range, with a quality interface.
There is also an issue with balance. My partner has had no problems with balancing on this, but she is five feet tall, this product seems to be well tailored to someone around her size. I am six feet tall, and it is different, I have to keep my body relatively lower to the bike than I would like to avoid balance issues, especially when entering the top tiers of resistance, and that can be issue especially when fatigued, nothing makes my cool down complete like falling over with 50 pounds of dangerous chaotic steel attempting to break leg bones.
I highly recommend this for people on the shorter side, if you are 5 foot six inches or lower, this is an excellent value option, but you will have to be careful and make concessions if you are above that height.

This bike is amazing and was so easy to assemble. Everything you need is included! 10/10 recommended for anyone wanting some at home equipment.
K&J –
Assembling this was pretty easy, but one of the holes attaching the handlebar is stripped out. You cannot ride without wearing shoes, because it has spikes on the pedals, so you’ve got to be ready to roll, so it seems like it isn’t meant for the casual person who wants to just hop on and go.
NotMe –
I am very happy with this Cyclace Exercise Bike. I finally put it together after about a month after receiving it. For me, it wasn’t difficult at all. The instructions were easy to follow and diagrams were spot on. Only thing is that it took me far too long to realize that the left pedal had reversed threads – oof! The included multitool was fine for tightening everything, but would be better to use a socket wrench for the two nuts in the front, as there’s not a lot of room to manipulate the tool.
The action is smooth, even when tightening the tension. Other cycle type exercisers I’ve had are kind of “choppy” until you get up to speed with tension – I’m very happy with this one’s smoothness. It is very solid and easy to adjust on the fly. I have not experienced any “squeaks” that have been mentioned in other comments, but there is a rhythmic “whisper” from the brake – not anything to complain about, just a little noticeable.
The ONLY thing I’m not liking is that the pedals are like the old style metal bicycle pedals – feels like you’re putting your feet on serrated steak knives! Great for grip, bad for bare feet – yikes! So, wear shoes. I just ordered another set of pedals because I don’t wear shoes in the house and don’t want to put them on just to ride this.
For the price, I’d say it’s a very good value, even at the $179 regular price. With the current $50 off coupon at the time of this writing, bringing it down to $129, even better!
