For the price of this rowing machine I knew I wasn’t going to get a Concept 2 quality rower, nor was I expecting that at all. However, I have to say that it’s worse than I expected and I would probably have opted for a second hand higher quality machine in hindsight. I’ve used it three times since I got it and have two major issues with it which make me regret the purchase:
1) It’s not suitable for average height or tall men, it’s too small for the full motion for myself (6 feet) and puts bad pressure on the knees due to the awkward design of the footrests.
2) The tracker thingy doesn’t work at all, I had noticed some complaints about it being inaccurate in prior reviews but the timer doesn’t even work on mine which is rather frustrating since that was the only function I was pinning my hopes on using after having read the other reviews.
That being said, the price is very low and I could see this being a decent purchase for smaller individuals.

I’ve had this rowing machine for about four years. It’s simple to use, I like the range on it. It’s whisper quiet and easy to fold up.
I let it sit with batteries in the monitor unused for a couple years and a battery spring corroded and broke. My fault, obviously.
I emailed Echanfit about buying a replacement monitor and they resonded within 24 hours. The next day they sent me a link to the replacement monitor since mine is well out of warrenty.

I’m really happy with how quickly the company responded to my request.
I’m going to try and replace the battery spring in my monitor first before buying a new one. I’m leaving this review in case others need to replace their monitor in the future. It has specific connectors and it’s hard to find a sure third party replacement.

Having read Many reviews convinced me on this purchase.
It is very quiet. Quite easy to assemble. Light weight. I do wish there was a back light on the display, but once it’s angled properly it’s not difficult to see or read. As much as I like that it is light weight I do find it a little too light on the front end simply because it does raise when pulling back. But i just slapped a couple 10lb dumbbells across the front “legs” and problem solved.
I am extremely happy with this purchased.
Oh and as a beginner, meaning I haven’t worked out in several years, resistance is quite nice. I am still set at one and I feel good and well worked out after only rowing for a mile at a time.

Solid unit. Only item that was skipped on was the foot straps, but doesn’t affect anything. Smooth motion.

This is a sturdy rower with all the features I wanted. It was easy to assemble, even for one person. The tools and parts come shrink wrapped to cardboard backing. I was able to ID everything before starting the assembly process. I did contact ECHANFIT, through Amazon, because I thought I was missing a part. They contacted me the next morning, less then 12 hours later, turns out the bolt was pre attached to another part in the pack. They were very helpful. The rower works well. I can feel the difference between the 16 resistance settings. It connects easily via Bluetooth to ifit and kinomap. So far it’s a great product! Fantastic value. I am vary happy with this rower.

Not bad for the price. My machine came well packed with easy to read instructions. Quality seems on par with my Norid-trac bike and budget buy treadmill.
Assembly shouldn’t be a problem for people who aren’t normally accustomed to assembling items like this. It should no more than an hour for the inexperienced. It took me about 20 minutes. It took longer to unpack it than assemble it. Beware that when you attach the display the mounting screws are already in the display. You must remove them and use them to attach the display to the machine.
The rear legs have adjustable stability feet which is a nice feature. The seat is nice and wide with a decent amount of cushioning. The seat has a smooth range of motion. The magnetic resistance is decent, about what you would expect. The difference between setting 1 and 16 is noticeable. The foot rests are probably the weakest part of the machine. They don’t have any up or down adjustments. The display is par for the course for a machine like this. It folds up, but is a little awkward to move around. I’ve yet to own a machine that wasn’t awkward to move around. However, just the fact that we have the ability to move, fold and stor machines like this now is an amazing feat of modern engineering.
All and all a nice addition to my home gym. It should last a long time For the 10 to 20 minutes a day 4 times a week that I use it.
I will update periodically and add pictures eventually.

I’ve had the rower for a few weeks now, and have 5750 reps on it.
Assembly was easy with the provided tools. It probably took longer to un pack then to assemble. It was packed very well.
The unit is smooth and quite. The loudest part is the seat rollers. The 16 levels of restistance are great, I started at 4 and can pull 16 for a few minutes at a time.
The display only shows you a stop watch, distance in miles, reps per minute and # of reps. If you have a fitness tracker it’s still overkill.
Seat is comfortable, handle is good too

I put this together last weekend and gave it its first workout last night. So far, it was everything other reviewers have said. Its quiet. Its comfortable and it appears to be very sturdy. I put it in front of my tv and began my workout.I love how you can dial in the resistance. I haven’t used the programmer yet, I’m just getting myself used to using a rowing machine. The directions are simple and clear to understand. I will say, I did this by myself and there were just two occasions I wished I had a third arm, but was able to complete the assembly anyway. I would definitely recommend that you get a 19mm socket and ratchet and a 19mm box wrench. The “tools” that are included, except for the phillips screwdriver end, are pretty much worthless. I tried to use them, but soon found out it would take way to much time to assemble, so I went out into my garage and secured the above mentioned tools. And of course another huge bonus is the fact you can fold the seat rail and store this in a corner of your home or apartment. One last thing. I am 5.7″ with a 32 inch inseam and when I completely stretch my legs out during the exercise, there isn’t any travel left on the rail. This may not be for taller people. YMMV.

I don’t often leave reviews but because I researched this so much I will! For the price it’s great!!! Solid. Stable. Very easy to assemble (which things rarely are in this world lol). Doesn’t take to too much space once assembled either. Great beginner or intermediate machine. I’m 5’4” it fits perfectly. Curious for my 6’2” partner to try, I can see for him the front might lift as others mentioned we can place a weight on front leg.

It was very easy to set up, looks very expensive but didn’t break the bank.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the good quality of this machine.
The resistance is not at the level of machines I’ve used at gyms, but it’s fine for home use. Phone holder works. Very quiet.
The only cons so far are the foot pedal/ strap, the Velcro doesn’t hold well. And you have to reset the screen every time before you get going, even if it’s been 2 days, or it keeps counting from the previous workout.
