Purchased after doing a lot of price checking and product reviews- this one fit my very small budget and had best rating. Arrived quickly despite being semi rural and instructions were clear to follow.
Took a bit of work to set up the corresponding app (VeryFit) and connect watch to it, but once connected and set to my preferences it seems to work okay. Settings such as date and time were corrected as soon as it paired to the app as well. Connected to a newer iPhone model and app works reasonably seamlessly with health data collected by phone already.
On the plus, heart rate function seems reasonably accurate which is the actual reason I got it. Step count similarly accurate. Has a measuring tool for stress which I don’t intend to use. Can also control play/pause/skip for music of connected phone (but doesn’t seem to change playlist or select music individually).
On the flip side, took it out for an 11km trial and the distance is not accurate- telling me I had only covered 9.45km in that time. Both online mapping tools, Strava and phone indicate the course is 11km exactly.
It appears the distance measurement is relying on step count in lieu of GPS positioning, but otherwise it’s a reasonable value for money as both a watch, heart rate monitor and step counter.

I’ve only had this a few days (my former one was a samsung active2) but I’m very impressed! The screen is bright and vibrant and it is very east to scroll through and navigate. There are features I haven’t used it yet, including taking phone calls so more to come. The alexa feature is nice. The app on the phone is decent. I like the health options (heartrate, sleep, etc..). So far I have not missed anything from my former watch, though I’m not sure about getting it wet so I need to research that.
Update: I’ve had the watch for a few months. I still like all of the notes above. My biggest peeve is that sometimes it autoupdates and other times it doesn’t. For example, the temp here yesterday was 80 and today it is 57. My watch still showed 80 from yesterday until I went into the app and did a refresh and now it is correct. Same thing happens with text messages; they will just stop coming through the watch and I have to refresh the app. It’s not all the time but a couple of times a week. Also, the watch faces are really decent and bright but they are not interactive; for example, I can’t click on the steps and go into the health part of the watch.

Bought this as gift. It was well liked and had the features she wanted. Unfortunately after 3 months it would not charge. Contacted seller, after following request of resetting, customer replaced unit. Replacement watch is working as it should.

It looks nice and it has a lot of useful features such as a step counter, you can make and receive call on it, blood oxygen level, sleep data, weather forecast, alarm clock, find my phone, you can control your music from it and you can use it to control your phones camera.
It’s comfortable to wear but I don’t like that the extra strap piece tucks through and underneath the strap as it’s a pain to put on but I think this has been updated to a new design since I got my watch.
The screen is a nice size, it doesn’t look too bulky and the touch controls seem very responsive.
I have been using it for a while now and the average battery life is around 7 days depending on how you use it for example if you use it to track your daily exercise or if you use it to make lots of calls or if you have the screen on time turned up the battery might not last as long.
Overall I think it’s a good smartwatch for the price and I would happily recommend it.

Love the active features available especially the heart rate monitor. Found it’s quite easy to wear and that’s about. Nothing too remarkable to write about except that it’s just a quintessential smartwatch. Would probably be ideal as a gift to the young ones.

I had a Fitbit but it started acting up on me so, I looked elsewhere. Found this watch and was very happy with it. It does more like different sports, it’s easy to read even in the sun, not like the fit bit. It’s easy to charge. It hooks up to Alexa and takes texts and phone calls. Awesome watch. It even hooks up to weight watchers.

I bought it because I started living a healthier life style this year, and wanted to keep track of a few things.
I’ve only had it for 2 days and love it so far. It came with the battery charged at 97% so only took a few minutes to charge it to 100%. After 2 full days, the battery is still at 75%. I love having Alexa at my finger tips and the fact it’ll find my phone for me. I can check messages and the weather. There’s still a few things to figure out, but so far I’m very happy with it!

This watch has a nice sized face and you are able to see it outside in the sunshine. Unfortunately, that is the only thing that I like about this watch!
Due to the problems I was having with the watch, I have already returned it for a replacement and the replacement is not any better.
1. Before you can even start using the watch, you must download and install the mobile app. This app seems to be developed by an 8th grader who took a coding class at Summer Camp. The only thing that seems to work consistently is the multitude of badges it keeps awarding you every day! I am not 12 years old, I don’t need badges!
2. Don’t even try to use the Do Not Disturb (DND) mode. If you use it in the scheduled mode, you will not receive any messages or phone calls even during the unscheduled time. The watch will monitor your sleep, but even with the DND mode, every time you turn over or adjust your covers during the night, the face lights up – brightly!
3. I have the watch set to use miles/feet as my unit of measure, however, it continues to report altitude measurements in Meters! Not very helpful for a hiker.
4. I went for a 7 mile hike, and the watch shows Calorie Consumption = 0. Seriously, I climbed a some pretty steep hills.
5. During a hike, it will give a little ding when you have walked each mile. However, it does not provide any audio update such as the last mile took xx minutes and current Heart rate is xx. If you want any additional information, you need to stop and look at the watch. Oh but make sure you do NOT have a scheduled DND mode. Even if you are not during the scheduled DND – you WILL NOT receive any alerts.
To summarize, this watch is useless as a sports watch!!!

Says it will show texts, but it doesn’t. The only thing I get are Facebook messenger notifications….

I love this smart watch! I’ll have to admit; for the price, I was skeptical. My doubts were quickly dashed upon first use. The watch came charged at 97%. Instructions directed me to install the VeriFit app on my phone. Pairing the phone was easy. There are many good choices of free faces for the watch or you can pay $.49 to $1.99 for others. I’m very happy with the free choices. Calls are clear and the person on the other end said they could not hear any difference from calling directly on the phone. After 2 full days of wearing the watch the battery is still at 74%! The Alexa app seems to perform just like an Amazon Echo. It’s light weight and comfortable. This is a really nice watch.
