John Everett –
Summary: Feature rich and comfortable, reasonably accurate readings if worn on inside wrist. However, short battery life if used as intended, and lack of customization in the app downgrades rating.
Pros: good price point for its features level, is feature-packed, reasonably accurate body temp and blood pressure readings (when worn on inside wrist, compared to doctor office readings), band more comfortable and secure than most fitness watch silicone bands. App is decent to track and graph all the various functions, and can be set to take readings as often as every 15 mins. I haven’t used the step counter or run tracking features, so I can’t speak to those.
Cons: if you use the watch as intended (setting it to take readings on a regular basis), the battery life is MUCH lower than advertised. In my experience, it only lasts 1 1/2 to 2 days, not the 6-15 days promised. Also, if the battery dies, the watch is DEAD, and won’t keep proper time after recharge… there’s no reserve to keep the internals running. You have to sync your watch with the app to reset the time on the watch.
I bought it exclusively for the body temperature monitoring, as I’m undergoing cancer treatment that requires immediate action if I spike a fever. The ability to take a temp at any time is good, as is the ability to graph trends. However, I was disappointed that I can’t set an alarm if the temp crosses a certain temp threshold like I can on a different $10 fitness band (that doesn’t have an app or other features other than time, steps, and temp). It seems like a significant oversight and shortcoming on the part of the developers, and it could have easily been done. The same could have been done with blood pressure, blood sugar, heart rate, and blood oxygen to make it a MUCH more useable product.
I’m keeping the band, regardless of its shortcomings, but I was a bit disappointed with the battery life and what the feature abilities COULD have been with alarms. I sort of expected them as a basic function, considering how many people have high blood pressure, blood sugar issues, need to watch their heart rate, or need to monitor their blood oxygen.

This tracker is awful. It refuses to sync with Bluetooth on my phone and tablet. It never displays the correct time or record any of my activities. I suspect it was previously owned because what it does display is not me. It has a weird way of charging too: you have to remove the wristband.

Dislike I can not charge. I don’t like this very hard to tale watch band apart to charge

This fitness tracker is sold under multiple names and different price points, but is essentially the same product.

There were so many things I liked about the Ion Fitness tracker that I really wanted to keep it.
Color screen
Charging time: about 1.5 hrs.
Battery Life: 7 days

Blood Oxygen
Blood Pressure
Sleep Tracking
16 sport modes
For the Ion tracker I used, I found the Sleep feature to be very accurate. I found the body temp and blood oxygen to be fairly accurate. The blood pressure reading was only off by a few points, and the heart rate was a few points low. The real disappointment was that the step count was way off. The tracker must measure every movement of the hand because at the end of the day, my step count was 35-40% higher than the step reading on my Fitbit. There isn’t any setting on the Runmefit phone interface that will allow you to adjust your stride. If the developers can address this problem, they would have a great budget tracker.
There is also just one size band offered which fits up to a 9″ wrist. My wrist is only 5.5″ so I have the strap adjusted to the 12th hole out of 14, with a lot of strap wrapped around my wrist.
Bottom Line; My main use for a fitness tracker is to monitor my daily steps which is the most inaccurate measurement of this tracker. It is going back.

Battery life is OK.
Watchband is hard to slide into watch. Won’t close against watch.
I like the watch and all the features.

Easy to charge and provides a close accuracy on everything including Blood sugar. I am pre-diabetic, so it’s use is for that and not as an accurate test required for diabetics. This replaced another brand and is a good value for what it does.
