I first saw this vibrating unit at my physical therapist office. After using it I went straight home and ordered me one for my personal use. Besides being able to isolate the use to different parts of the body, I get on it just to relax as it vibrates the entire body if you just stand on it 🙂

Work gets stressful and I don’t have time/interest to run around at the gym or outside.
I owned some other vibration plates with fewer option and cheaper. This one is a definite upgrade. It has more settings and is very powerful. Worth the extra bucks.

I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this product. Let me just say it’s amazing. I’m thinking about getting one for work during my breaks. Many people want to use these to get out of actually exercising. This is more than that. For those of us with poor blood circulation, this is perfect for that. It took me a minute to get used to the fact that my body is about to experience something it’s never experienced before. Once you get used to t, it’s wonderful. It helps with sleeping better and feeling better all around. I highly recommend it.

08/16/2024 I received my Flybird. I opened the package set it and plugged it in. I stood on it, turned it on, & it started vibrating. Immediately I looked at the timer and saw that the start button was not fully lit up as the other areas were fully lit. This tells me there is a defect. I am sending this back to get a replacement that fully lights up. I will then give another review once I receive the replacement.

I love this! My entire body feels like I worked out for an hour after 10 minutes. I have to stretch afterward or I’m so stiff the next day. Definitely works the core as well. Easy to operate. My kids love it, too.

Feels a little dizzying at first, but it actually warns you about just that. Stand by a wall at first. The feeling goes away. Haven’t used the arm hoops yet, but I do enjoy the jiggle. Singing opera on this is a breeze. As I am still new to this, I’m awaiting further results, but buy it!! You’ll think of me when you sing on it.

I researched it on PubMed, and a recent meta analysis (overarching study) of 30 research studies supports the role of vibrating plates in promoting bone density (DadeMathews et al., 2022 Complement Ther Med 65:102811, PMID: 35093509). So I’m on board. I looked at different instruments that could do more than just vibrate and this one does 3 modes and came through Amazon. The latter is beneficial, just in case it does not meet my needs and I can then return it. So far it seems to work and I feel fine after using it. It comes with 9 pre-set programs and can also be run manually using the controls on the machine or the remote. You can feel it working out your body as you stand on it. On Program P2 it tells me I burned about 170 calories. Sounds good though I’m thinking it may depend on the weight of the person using it. The booklet is missing some information; it does not tell you exactly what each program entails and what the difference is between each program, so I will need to work that out by doing the different programs. Looking at the tiny pictures, it seems that each Program only does 1 type of movement, not a combination of all three (oscillating, pulsating, lateral). But I may be mistaken. It would benefit the manufacturers to explain the programs better. The price is competitive for a “4D” machine. My daughter, who owns a different (more expensive) brand, tried this one out and gave it two thumbs up. I will update in due time once I’ve figured the Programs out. Standing on this gadget for 10 minutes a day beats walking around with 30 lbs on my back…my other plan for bone strengthening. My guess is this is way easier on my knees than the 30 lbs.
