Review from same day as assembly…. Instructions app is clear and well organized. #1 Task: Remove packaging. There is a lot of packaging. Allow at least 1/2 hr. Assembly Tasks: There are about 30 machine bolts to attach with the included allen wrench. Getting the threading started was a challenge for every one of them. Also tight spaces make it difficult to: a) get the wrench on the bolt head, and b) tighten even a quarter turn each time you get the wrench on the bolt head. (Note: Most of the assembly is near the bottom of the HEAVY exerciser, so you are either on your hands and knees or scooting around on your backside while threading the bolts.) The parts that attach with screws were easier to thread; there just aren’t many of them. The instructions say assembly will take 2 people 45 minutes to complete. Working alone, I finished in 4-1/2 hours. So far, the exerciser lives up to its description. Comfortable seat, fluid to peddle, and very quiet.

I have only enthusiastic praise for this recumbent bike — well made, and of great quality as well as easy to assemble from the enclosed well-written instructions and clear artistic drawings (my husband thanks you Teeter!!). The bike makes this 76 year old feel “almost young again!!!” It is so quiet and my activity on the bike actually feels effortless. I had been using a treadmill and not getting adequate results for my arms and core. This bike is exactly what I was looking for in terms of “total body” exercise and for the ease of motion and physical exertion. Believe me, I could tell the difference in my muscle tone and energy level for the first time after exercising for only 30-35 minutes and that was without subsequent soreness or pain. I might add that this bike has adjustments that will benefit anyone of any age and satisfactorily allow the user to achieve his or her level of conditioning.

The assembly instructions were well written. The hardware for each step was in a separate package with label for what step. The hardest part about putting it together was unpacking it!
I’m 6’6″ and at full extension I can make it too long for me! You’re supposed to have a slight bend of the knee at full extension. My wife is 5’4″. Changing the seat and handles is easy.
The action is much easier that a bicycle exercise.

We debated in the FreeStep for months and finally decided to buy it. We couldn’t be happier! It’s a great all over body workout and we feel so good after we’ve worked out. We’ve had other cardio machines and weren’t happy with them, but we couldn’t be happier with our FreeStep. We want to workout and we enjoy our workouts which is half the battle! Highly recommended!

Love this equipment . Easy to assemble . Very kind to the back. Quite. A bit bulky in size . But overall great for the price

I can’t say enough good things about the design and layout of the assembly. A separate package for each step of the assembly process. No need to figure out what screws go to what pieces. It’s fairly easy to assemble with a bit of muscle needed here and there to reposition the stepper for easier assembly.
The stepper itself is just as good as the ones that the PT facilities use with a MUCH better price. Plenty of seating adjustments and workout levels. The console is big and bright.

We purchased the Teeter machine for my wife who is 5.0 feet tall. Due to the excessively long stride of this machine she could not get it to function as designed. The Teeter uses a wheel connected to the pedals for resistance. If you are too short the wheel will overcenter and lock potentially causing injury. My wife was injured. There is nothing in the seller or manufacturers advertisement to describe minimum stride length or minimum user height or leg length. Unfortunately the reason we purchased the Teeter was because it was the only one that did not list a minimum height so we thought it would be adjustable. Plus all of the reviews said it was a good machine. All other manufacturers that we found while doing our research list the minimum height or leg length. We contacted the Seller and asked for help getting it to work for her but they never responded.

This is a very well built trainer. It’s very quiet and operates smoothly. If you don’t want to spend $6000 for a NuStep this is a very excellent alternative for a price well worth the money. Assembly is not difficult but will take 1-2 hours. Instructions are very clear and all the hardware is individually bagged and numbered. Ships directly from the factory and is very well packaged.

The regular exercise bike made my knees hurt so much. After 5 minutes I couldn’t go anymore. This is a relief only had it 1 month, using 3 times a week up to 35 minutes per session. No severe pain. Had knee replacement 5 months ago

This 62 year old lady put it together herself with no problems. My son brought it into the house but I did everything else. I purchased it to keep me moving in the winter or my arthritis acts up. I love it! It runs smooth and I can roll it around myself. It sits up higher than the one I used in physical therapy but I like it so far. I can reach the pedals and arms which can be difficult for my 5 ft body.
