I can’t use the remote because it came without a battery

This is my second remote (1 that came with it & Russ replacement). Neither one has worked for me. You can turn it on without it but it won’t do anything else without it. Useless treadmill to me so far since I bought it.

Not working with Goyouth 2 in 1 treadmill. Also Goyouth treadmill does not have safety lock as indicated in instruction manual attached. Return requires approval from supplier. Received mailing label for Fedex. Gave 3 stars for prompt return follow up, although bit more complex than typical Amazon return. Contacted Goyouth and they are following up on providing replacement remote.

TBD on if it actually works with my treadmill since now I have to go buy a battery for this thing. Aggravating!

I had a hunch that it was the remote. I changed the battery but still the machine doesn’t respond. I bought this remote and put the battery in, turned the treadmill on, pulled the emergency cord, pointed the remote at the screen, and held the power button for more than 3 seconds. it let out a long beep for as long as I held the button. I put the emergency cord back on and started the machine. Praise God it worked! I’d rather pay 35$for a remote.than 350$ for a new machine!
