each of my C2 workouts is like a race, i try to pull hard as I can for each stroke and do sprints & ‘punches’…
these grips would not hold a position & kept trying to wobble off the handle, moreover the grips were twisting around the handle…
more suited (imo) for a leisurely “row row row your boat, gently….”

This Handle Cushion for Rowing Machine is a great idea. Saves me from having to put weight lifting gloves on when I row. It’s lightweight, but adds just enough cushioning to protect my hands. It fits my old Concept 2 rower, and was easy to install. The cover seems well made—no rips or holes or loose threads and even seams. I like everything about this cushion. Recommended.

Does a good job of minimizing skin friction and discomfort when rowing; slightly fiddley to put on (take care to position the seam toward you, away from where your fingers contact the handle.)

I picked up a Hydrow rower back in 2021 and have rowed almost 2 million meters on it, but I was never a fan of the hard plastic handles. With an actual boat you have to rotate the oars to clear the water and it is hard to emulate with the hard plastic handles without generating heat. I always thought it would be good with rotating handles, but when I saw these handle covers, I knew that this is the answer.
The covers slide over the plastic of the handles easily and the elastic between them keeps them from falling off. They are extremely comfortable to use and you can rotate your wrists while using them. I can affirm that they absorb sweat. Luckily, they are washable and easy to take off and install, so I plan on washing them weekly.
Overall, I have determined that these are just a good addition, but are a necessity now. I plan to pick up another set just in case these start to wear.
