It is thinner than the original strap which is fine. Here is the real issue: I’ve tried it several times since receiving it and it has never been able to pick up my heat rate. Not once.

Strap seems a bit thinner than my original MyZone belt. Hook sometimes comes undone. I like the smaller size though!

I do not know why the reviews are so bad. I’ve been using this strap for seven months. I’ve washed in in my machine and accidentally dried it. It works perfectly. I was actually having issues with the original strap, and this works as well. Also, instead of water (or spit), I use gel. It’s super cheap, and I transfer it into a bottle I got for the dollar tree. I have not had any issues at all except for my weight going up and down requiring adjustments! I highly recommend this strap!
