This heart rate monitor is not user friendly at all… I’m just going to send it back…

I have a Fitbit Sense 2 and frankly it’s terrible at measuring heart rate. I’ve been using a chest strap but that’s inconvenient. This iGPSport arm band is much easier to use. I have tried it on both the inside and outside of my upper forearm and it works well. I’ve used some other arm bands but they tend to flake out for a bit and aren’t consistent. This HR70 is a definite level up.
It connected to the iGPSport Ride android app easily and also the iGPSport BSC300 computer. I primarily use it with the BSC300. The android app allows for setting up heart rate zones and alerts. The monitor can vibrate to indicate when you’ve passed a heart rate zone. I’m testing only with the upper limit since I don’t want to stay above 150 bpm when the temperature is near 100°F.
The strap is very easy to adjust. It’s pretty comfortable but there is a definite pressure from it that lingers. I’ll have a ghost strap on my arm for about 30 minutes after I’m done riding and take the HR monitor off.
It charges with a magnet clip cable that seems to be unique to the HR70. It doesn’t match those from my other bike gear.
I like the auto-off feature. I’m usually in a hurry to get to the shower and not having to turn off the monitor is nice. It shuts off after 5 minutes of inactivity if you enable that feature.
Battery life is phenomenal. I have a charge routine for most of my bike gear on Sunday so I can start the week fresh. This monitor goes all week without issue.

Great HRM for cycling. Connects without issue to Garmin Edge 840 and the battery life is exceptional. The connected app lets you see the remaining battery. Performance is in line with most HRMs on the market. Having the ability to wear on your forearm or upper stem front or back adds to its versatility. Great quality with a vibration to indicate on/off. Be sure to turn off auto-sleep or it will sleep after 10 minutes.

Pros:
+ tactile alerts when you reach a certain HR (these can be auto-calculated based on % max HR, or can be customized)
+ super simple to sync to device and/or iGPSport app
+ changing settings in the iGPSport app is simple and intuitive
+ comfortable band with plenty of adjustability for different size arms
+ charging interface is terrific: magnetic, so no ports to worry about
+ easy double-press of the button to switch “modes” — running, cycling, swimming, universal
+ auto off feature
+does away with the restrictive chest strap
Cons:
None thus far. This thing just works and works well.

Works very well and is easy to set up, use and appears to be very accurate. Battery life is phenomenal so far. Only had it 2 weeks, and have used it for about 16 hours and app says battery life is still 97% – we’ll see. No complaints at all.

Is been working good. Of course you cant see the light color for heart rate frecuency area that it has as is going to be facing outside , so either in the app or bike monitor otherwise you cant control it , you will never see the light color indicator. It does stays in place very good , i would say is definitely worth it

For a few years I’ve been using a chest heart monitor, but there were many times when I put on my bike clothes but forgot the monitor. With a wrist monitor, it’s easy to attach without taking off clothes.
This IGPSPORT monitor is excellent. It’s very accurate (I’ve checked by doing several physical pulse counts). The strap is adjustable, and it doesn’t slide down while riding. There was no problem pairing the unit with my three bike computers. I’ve used the monitor, now, for about 2-3 weeks (10 rides), but haven’t had to recharge the battery. The accompanying charger connects by magnets rather than having to insert the charger cable, which is a good feature. When the monitor is turned on (there’s a switch), there are two indicators that it’s actually on: a blue LED, and a haptic vibration, which assures that it’s actually working.

I’ve tried all the kinds of heart rate monitors, but this one was great! Easy to put on, accurate, pairs well with my phone and biking computer. This is the first arm band I’ve tried and I like it better than the chest strap kind. It’s also way more accurate than my watch! Nice product!
