Was not heavy enough to be sturdy. Kept falling over. Not easy for a senior to get their foot in the Velcro foot holders. Pedals were not sturdy and wobbled from side to side even though constructed per the instructions. Seems like maybe some inside bearings were missing. Tension knob on pedals did not work. The one on the hands did work. Will probably return this item and look for something else.

The package has a great minimalist design. It is light, and easy to put together. At first a was somewhat skeptical about the sturdiness and design, but the more I used the product the happier I became. It is very stable so you do not have to worry about the product moving around too much as you use it. The hand grips are nice foam material, the foot pedals are made of plastic with adjustable Velcro foot straps, and the frame is a lightweight metal. I would recommend this for anyone who sits in a chair all day. I only rate 4 because handle turns slightly when in use. Other than that it is perfect.

A bit on the flimsy side but exactly what I need to try to build up some strength after a year of mostly bed rest.

This item is fairly easy to put together if you have smaller hands and a smaller upper body build. You may need a few additional tools. It is easy to use, and would be an ideal workout tool even for various sized people in your household, since everyone has to find a seat that is suitable to them.

Works well

One reviewer said this: “It might as well be made out of tin foil. The foot pedals are held on with a thin stem of metal that bends with any use… The stalk supporting the arm pedals cannot be tightened to the point of stability, either…”
I couldn’t agree more. I disregarded this review before buying because I thought she was just being picky as a professional. But she’s accurate down to the letter. As for missing parts, there were several bolts missing, which I had to replace at my own cost just to put the darn thing together! Even after putting the thing together properly the unit wobbled so much that I couldn’t see how it would stand up to any repeated use.

Great for those that need to increase their mobility. Easy to assemble. Great buy

This was a very inexpensive dual pedal exerciser. After using just a single level pedal bike, my legs were getting very shaped up, but my arms needed a lot of help. I bought this hoping I will get the same results for my arms as for my legs. I like it, but there are a few challenges. It’s not made for young, strong, pounding pedaling. I’m a senior, and it’s fine for me except the pedals tend to be a bit wobbly, lower and upper. I just got this product, and it remains to be seen how it holds up. For now, it is working my arms and legs as I want it to, and it’s in my price range. I like that it has adjustable tension for both sets of pedals. I need more tension for my legs and less for my arms right now. It does have better-gripping rubber feet than my last bike, but I also put it on a rubber mat to keep it from sliding. I put socks on the pedals so I can pedal barefoot more comfortably. All in all, so far, so good. UPDATE: less than a year later, the lower pedals broke off. The weld failed, and sadly this did not have a 1-year warranty, so no refund or replacement. I would choose a different configuration where the pedals are enclosed and not welded on top of the bar. Sad face.

piece of junk broke after 1 month used by an 82 yr old man stuck in a chair…

Could be better. It was easy to install, but the hand pedal not as sturdy. Okay for your own personal use and for elderly person.
Ab shopper –
Excellent for tiny spaces. Well suited for elderly with mobility issues. Hand pedals bait too shaky when in use. Not for heavy set users.
