I purchased these for our local swim team to use during the summer season. They have a nice solid feel when you push the start/stop. They have survived one season so far and held up to rain and being dropped. Very good timers for the price.

This timer does the job just fine. But if you’re going to be keeping this for years and using it frequently, I suggest you get the 7000 series from Marathon. I bought this one for our swim team and won’t be buying more. It’s better than the inexpensive multi colored pack of 6 from another brand, but not nearly as nice as the 7000 series timer.

My only complaint is with the set up instructions. Two of the buttons have two different functions but the instructions don’t point that out. Once that was figured out, the stop watch function worked well.

Bought this for my 8 yr old grandson who is just learning to swim underwater. I gave it only 4 stars because I haven’t had it long enough to see how it holds up. It was fairly easy to set up and it is very easy for him to use. He does hold it with wet hands and so far no problems. Good product for what we intend to use it for.
