Bike assembled quickly as instructions were easy to follow and parts are clearly defined all tools included. Construction appears satisfactory, tubing thickness provides a firm feel, no wobbly ride, welded parts fastened securely although not fully welded probably for cost savings. Ample screws at frame connections are also stable except hand grip which rocks up and down slightly.
Ample leg length adjustment provided and secured with two knobs for stability from movement at connection point.
Ride is smooth as can be, comparable to more expensive pro equipment, 8 resistance levels also appear comparable to similar units I have used in a gym, computerized and multi thousand dollar units excluded.
Backrest is steady and amply sized with basic minimal padding, the seat is not as shown but steady with no movement when using, however it is very uncomfortable, very very uncomfortable, I have to sit on a pad to use the machine (no tender bottom on me) so interpret that as you wish.
The display well..sucks! Not backlit so very difficult to see at the angle it is mounted and inaccurate, my minute timer takes 56 seconds. Worst part was the wires exiting the display do not line up with the mounting bracket hole so when connected and installed will crush the wires possibly resulting in a shorted wire, not dangerous but it will stop functionality. I cut away some plastic off of the rear of the display case to allow the wires to exit at the center to avoid this situation.
This is a great inexpensive recumbant exercise bike that has two minor flaws it is a 4.5 star value.

I’m very happy with the Marcy Recumbent Bike! First of all, it was less expensive than the others which was a definite plus! It’s a basic bike that seems well-built, and does all I need it to do. I just put it in front of the TV, start peddling, and before I know it, half an hour has past. It has other features of course, but the only thing I ever use is the tension adjustment knob. I’m not interested in anything else. I would highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a basic bike that’s affordable! 😊

The instructions for assembly were good. Everything went together without a problem.
The instructions about the electronic display are lacking. The display is very basic and rotates through 6 different settings (distance, speed, calories, time, pulse, & odometer). The pulse detection compared to my fitness watch reads about 50 BPM too high.
The claim that the pedals are self leveling is NOT accurate. They are weighted, but rarely do the level face up.
What the handles are for under the display is a question. There is no explanation in the instructions and it would be very uncomfortable to reach them when sitting back in the seat.
Once assembled it is not easily moveable.
So far it seems to be well built and the magnetic tension knob works good.
For the price this is a good entry level exercise bike with no bells or whistles.

I have arthritis of the knees. My orthopedist told me to stop the treadmill and purchase a stationary bike. We first bought another model, got it home and I was stunned at the parts and directions to put it together. We found a company hat puts it together at our home, Great service but a little pricey. He put it together in about a half hour. But there was no way I could get on it. The crossbar was way to high. I was able to return it. I looked at several others but the Marcy (Impex) was exactly what I needed. Easy to get off and on. I didn’t take a chance so I called the same service to put it together.
The bike lets you sit down so it’s like driving a car. The dashboard gives lots of data; I use it for timing the length I’m on it. I’m following my specialists instructions and my knee pain is starting to ease.

I just got my Marcy bike. It’s perfect for a short legged lady. I have it set up in front of my television. It’s comfortable except I need an added cushion on the seat because my glutes could use more padding. A bike I got earlier had the seat too high and getting on It was a little scary with my poor balance. A friend put it together easily except she had to remove the seat to install the arms. I think it will be perfect for developing my legs. It’s a great bargain and is well planned. 😀

I purchased this product at the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020. Because my hips can become easily misaligned, which then requires chiropractic work, I require this recumbent seat, which doesn’t throw my hips out. For an inexpensive way to exercise at home, this bike really did the trick. I still use it despite having access to a more sophisticated recumbent exercise bike at a near-by gym once gyms opened again. It is moveable but is also rather large, so some space is needed. Customer service from the company itself (located in California, see the manual for contact information, and, yes, they actually answer the phone!) has also been excellent when I needed some help.

I love this little stationary bike! And the price point is incredibly reasonable!! It’s sleek, compact, cute, sturdy and tucks into a corner of my living room. It’s SO quiet!! I can’t believe it! I can listen to music, TV, read or watch Youtube while riding. My last recumbent bike made lots of noise, so I couldn’t cycle if anyone else was around. I love the simple display that gives me all the parameters I need, including pulse – which at my age, is a good idea to watch when exercising. I target my heart rate. I had to have my husband put it together for me because of the few electronic parts. I didn’t want to mess it up. I suppose if I HAD to have done it myself, I’d have eventually gotten through it. It really wasn’t that hard to do, my husband said. All the parts were clearly labeled, well packed (in spite of the box arriving opened and smashed). Nothing was broken or smashed. Instructions were clear. Seat is comfy. I LOVE IT!! I’d buy it again in a heart beat! 🙂

easy to assembly, has different levels and easy to peddle

I had this shipped to my parents’ house out of state so I am exercise when I visit, the product was damaged UNDERNEATH the layers of undamaged packaging, meaning the manufacturer or distributor KNEW it was damaged. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU ARE TALL. I bought this because it is the “updated” version of the model I already have in my home and it’s just crap: it does not adjust to accommodate as much height as the old model, the handlebars are cheaply made and positioned much more awkwardly and frankly, they just made assembly more complicated by adding a bunch of wires and basically made everything else suck for one stupid feature that i don’t even need because my smart watch does all that for me. This thing is just garbage. If you are looking for something like this, opt for the older model with the rounded chassey and save yourself the hassle of spending hours putting together a product that absolutely sucks.
