I have been wanting to purchase my own rowing machine for some time now, but have been trying to make sure I get the right one. After a fair amount of research I decided price versus features this is the right one for me. The only issue in the reviews that concerned me is there was some talk about resistance level, and not right for a professional… after setting this up and using it for a few weeks, I don’t know what they are talking about? I have not encountered a rowing machine at a gym that has noticeably more resistance than this machine, so I would suggest that the individuals making those comments have an issue with their resistance operation.
What I like… very well made, super smooth, great resistance, great value for price, smart looking, super quiet and smooth operation, and easy to assemble. I don’t really have anything negative to say, but have not tried their connected app yet, but based on what I am seeing from this company, I am going to assume it is just fine. The only thing I can think of that might trip people up is they often depict it with a large screen, and it obviously does not come with this (fairly obvious), but could fool someone if not fully reading the spec.
I would buy it again, and recommend it to friends
After using it for a while longer now, I have one really small negative… the calorie counter does not take into account the resistance level, so you get the same count on level one as level 16, so if I had one suggestion for the company, I would want them to fix this… otherwise, I am super happy with it… I’m still too fat, so if they could fix that too, then best company ever!

The rower is well designed. Form following function. The sound of the water being agitated is remarkably soothing. Took about 10 minutes to assemble. With the current coupon being offered it is a reasonable price.

This product was very easy to assemble. The only thing i had to have a 2nd set of hands for was connecting the wires to the monitor. The rower is very sturdy. I currently weigh 245. I was either going to start Nutrisystems again or get a rower. The water rower is very quiet. You can stand it up when not using it so it’s out of the way. I highly recommend this product.

The plastic container for the water was cracked. So much hassle to disassemble and put back to the box. Make sure you return back my money. Looks like a good rowing machine though.

The machine is well made, easy to assemble, quiet operation but to adjust resistance, you have to remove or add water. If you are sharing this machine with another person that is not at the same fitness level, you may want to consider the magnetic rower by MERACH, when I brought up the issue, the customer service team, was super responsive and quick with their actions. Highly recommend products by MERACH.

This is my first home rowing machine. I have experience using them at the gym, but still am very much a beginner. This rower is a solid value, it looks great and functions quite well for the average workout. I found the set-up to be quite simple, I have no idea why anyone would have trouble with 6 bolts and 4 screws, but to each their own.
I am super happy with my purchase, and have been using it everyday developing a routine to get in better shape. The resistance levels have received some complaints in other reviews, I don’t see an issue here. Rowing is about time and distance in my opinion, and if you feel the resistance is too little, go faster. The beauty of water resistance is its consistency, if you row faster it will be more difficult. My goals with this machine are to decrease the amount of time it takes me to row set distances. And evolve those goals with time. I’m not sure if others want to achieve bulk muscle with this or something? I would suggest weightlifting for that, just my two cents.
I would recommend this machine for anyone looking for a low impact cardio, fat burning, and muscle toning workout.
My only gripe is that the app/digital interface are pretty basic, but for the price I think it’s sufficient.

As a first-time rower, that isn’t very active, this machine is perfect. Assembly wasn’t as easy as I had imagined. But once it was together I was very pleased. The seat is comfortable and smooth, not loud at all. Adding water with the supplied pump was easy, have a towel handy as suggested. Bluetooth was easy to set up for the Kinomap App. I am happy with the amount of resistance the first level provides. I’m sure I’ll increase it in time. The machine is well made and very easy to use. I would have given 5 stars had it not been as difficult for me to assemble. Happy Rowing.

I originally bought a much cheaper rower to try it out and see if I liked rowing. Turns out I do, so I sold my rowing machine and bought this one. The difference between the two was like night and day. This one is so quiet and very easy to use. It was also very easy to put together.

OMG what a great product I did my research out of 20 or so brands. This Merach is a sturdy product made with real wood cherry dark color and works perfectly. Better than the one at anytime fitness. Very solid workout and built to last. Highly recommend
