I had a stroke and an important part of recovery is exercise. This is low impact but steady walking with increased tension. I love it.

This a compact and easy-to-use piece of workout equipment. It goes great with watching TV and just passively getting a workout. I like to use mine when I binge-watch old sitcoms and I end up getting as much of a workout from laughing as I do from the Mini-Stepper, itself.

Great for a little work out when the weather is good for an outside walk/jog. Small enough to slide under the bed.

Mini Steppers for Exercise at Home, Stair Stepper Machine with Resistance Bands
This is a heavy little stepper. It came with oil for the mechanisms, stretch bands and an instruction booklet.
You can pick your height set-up by screwing in or out the adjustment knob on the front.
If you have really large feet they may not completely fit onto the steps but many people don’t step with flat feet anyway. The step has grips but is hard plastic so if you find yourself slipping on it you can easily attach anti slip tape.
The machine itself makes no noise but when the step connects with the lower bar it does make a noise. Even though there is a rubber stopper this sound might travel down to the floor below you, so if you plan to use this on an upper floor be aware it might annoy your downstairs neighbors unless you put down a carpet underneath.
The included bands or bands of your choice connect to the top via a clamp and enable you to get an arm workout while doing your steps. They machine also works fine without them.
The counter gives you steps, calories, time and strides. It will turn itself off after a few minutes of no use. I have not looked to see how to replace the battery.
This will be handy to use while watching tv and safer than climbing my stairs up and down 20 times.

I’ve had the stepper for 2 days and used it a few times. I purchased it because it said on Amazon the weight limit was 330lbs but the user manual inside the box said 220 lbs. I’m 245 lbs so I’m worried how long it will last. The burn from only 4 min of use is a good sign tho so as long as it holds my weight until I’m down to 220 lbs I’ll be happy!

I was pleasantly surprised at using this mini stepper as I was looking for a way to catch up on steps while working at a standing desk. For the longest time I considered purchasing a walking treadmill but those are fairly large, expensive and prone to breaking down.
This stepper accomplishes my goals at a fraction of the cost. As for workout intesnity, I’d say its’ slightly harder than walking and I get a moderate increase in heart rate while using this.
My main issue with it is its rather noisy. I’ve tried using the included lubricant in various parts but it still produces a consistent squeaky noise when using it.
Overall, I’m very happy with this as a cheap and easy way to increase my daily steps.

This has been a great new addition to my home office. I have some larger exercise equipment in the garage, but I find it has been helpful to have something close to my workspace so that I can casually add some movement multiple times each day without it being a big deal. I love that this is compact enough to fit under my bed (my bed has 11″ clearance) and I can just slide it out for use during the workday. I sit at a computer all day but I can hop on this for 5-10 minutes during breaks, and get some steps in and blood flowing. Even just 100 steps makes a difference.
The stepping mechanism works well. I am an adult male who is not athletic, and the range of resistance works fine for me at about medium level. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, there is a sound produced as each step hits the bottom. It’s not squeaking from the mechanical movement, but made by the contact between the pedal and the bars underneath. I can hear it but it isn’t enough to be a bother.
One downside for me is I have size 12 mens shoe size, and my feet are a little too long for the pedals. I can’t really wear shoes while using this, so I’ll use it in socks or barefoot, and my heel will hang off the back by about a half inch. It’s workable but not ideal, it requires a bit of extra focus to stay steadily in place on the pedals. If you have size 12+ feet you might want to look elsewhere.
The most significant downside is actually with the resistance bands. I am disappointed with those. They are an elastic woven cord rather than a rubber band, and the resistance level is quite weak. Also they seem a bit too long to be helpful. I am about 5’9″, for me elbow-based movements like bicep curls don’t stretch them far enough to create resistance. Some shoulder-based movements do get some resistance though still a bit floppy. If you’re shorter than me I wouldn’t expect these to work much at all. The connection points on the stepper seem pretty standard, so you could swap in other bands if you have them.
Overall I would say the stepper is 4 or 5 stars (depending on your shoe size), and the bands are like 2 or 3 stars. If you are most interested in the stepper, and the bands are just a bonus, this is still a good choice.

The size was just right. I was very disappointed that I had to send it back because the left peddle was defective. 😔
