I snapped the module onto the band, wet the contacts, and put it on as directed. Then I went into my apple watch and there it was under Bluetooth devices. I paired and it just works. No issues. Note, my understanding is it can only pair one Bluetooth device at a time.
Admittedly it’s a little weird to have a consumer electronic device these days that doesn’t come with an app. It also has no LED lights or anything to let you know it’s working. Somehow it knows when you put it on and that is when it turns on and the Bluetooth signal starts transmitting.
I saw some others complain about the durability so I’ll come back and update if anything goes wrong. So far so good.

Great strap, been using it with my garmin edge cycling computer for a few months. No issues at all & is much better than the garmin strap that I replaced. Picks up heartrate quicker & doesn’t have crazy spikes during exercise like the garmin did. Highly recommended.

The unit stopped working after a week of use. Returned it for another one. That one lasted almost three months before it stopped working. I had to replace the battery in the last one three times in the last two weeks. I returned that one on January 30th and zi am still waiting for my refund.

I was pleasantly surprised by this HR monitor. I bought it because I wanted to try a chest strap HR monitor without paying a small fortune. This one was very affordable and easy to use. I pair it with the FITIV Pulse app and it works perfectly. The information is accurate and presented in a way that makes you want to keep going. I use this strap during CrossFit workouts. The strap doesn’t move too much even with movements like double unders, running, or pull-ups. I would recommend to anyone wanting to track their training more closely
