The strap is well shaped for the body, easy to wear and adjust. The inner surface and material feel comfortable, but keep in mind that for good work that need to be wet for better contact with the skin.
Pairing is often smooth but sometimes I had to reset device few times. I’m not sure if that is the treadmill (I use it with Nordictrack) or the this monitor. What I like to add maybe is the clear indication on the device itself that it’s on and actively pairing.
Treadmill has to calibrate the device, it usually somewhere around 2 mins. After that sometimes I noticed device showing very low HR numbers, so if treadmill has auto adjustment you can have sky-rocketing load. I’m not sure if that is something related to placement of the device to the body but I ending up by restarting/re-pairing which is annoying.
Anyhow, the monitor overall is good, I prefer running with it rather than without it. Considering it’s price its a good choice for beginners like myself

This is the one… bought this to see if it would work with my iPhone, then, potentially, a sports/health smartwatch. I’m on a fitness program after heart stent surgery and wanted a monitor to exercise with when I complete clinical rehab. This is the PERFECT choice. Works with anything I can throw at it. In the clinic I’m using multiple brands of fitness equipment– it pairs with all of them automagically… It works with my iPhone and “Heart Buddy” AND “Polar Beat” apps. I opted to go with the Garmin Forerunner 45 smartwatch, I figured out how to pair it after watching a few Youtube videos. Definitely recommend this band… ANT+; Bluetooth; and 5kHz compatible.

I was looking for a heart rate Bluetooth chest strap monitor to replace my old Polar H7 I’ve used since 2014 with an old Polar Ft1. While the H7 used to pair well with Endomondo, Endomondo isn’t around any more, and the Polar (it was their cheapest one at the time) is not always great with other apps, and the watch monitor is unintuitive.
When browsing, I kept coming back to the Mo-Fit Trio – Heart Rate Monitor Chest Strap as it says it can use Bluetooth or ANT+ and lists a bunch of popular apps it works with. It didn’t have a lot of reviews, but the ones it had were positive, so I decided to give it a try.
Right off the bat, the strap it comes with is very comfortable – it’s soft but holds it’s shape so it won’t try to curl up while you wear it. Otherwise the strap is like the other heart rate monitor straps I’ve used, adjusting in the same way. The monitor itself has very tight snaps, so once it’s on, it is definitely not coming loose. I have arthritis, so snapping it in place the first time took some effort.
The good news is this monitor is accurate – I compared it to my pulse oximeters, and not only did they show the same heart rate, but the new monitor showed it faster. Since Endomondo is no longer around, I decided to try Map My Fitness, which I’ve used before. It paired instantly and stayed connected. Then I tried a new-to-me fitness app, myWorkouts Heart Rate Monitor. It paired equally fast with that one, and after messing around with settings, I was very happy with the new monitor and the new app.
So far, I’m a happy camper with this new heart rate monitor – it’s comfortable, accurate, and works well with the two apps I’ve used it with so far. It’s fast and responsive and stays connected with my phone and the apps I’ve tried it with. I just put a little water on my chest right under where the monitor went, and that worked, but I have a tube of electrode gel just in case. I’m quite satisfied; if anything changes, I’ll update this review.

this thing works perfectly compared to the garmin which is significantly more expensive this was easy to link to phone and my garmin fenix 5
update. after a couple of weeks it quit connecting automatically to my phone. Now I have to connect manually, but other that it works perfectly

For 20 years I have been using a simple CardioSport heart monitor strap that displays on a matching watch. It finally failed and, after reading many reviews, I decided to try the Mo-fit Trio, which arrived today. The Trio is very comfortable to wear and the chest unit turns on/off automatically, no switch required. It paired instantly with the free Strava app that I have on my iPhone and the readings are accurate, with very little lag. At this point I was already completely satisfied with the unit, but decided to try and see if it would display on my 20 year old heart monitor watch. To my amazement, the watch immediately showed the same readings as the Strava app, without even having to do anything. I just turned on the watch and it worked. I highly recommend this unit. P.S. I am NOT being compensated for this review.

Initially had some issues but seller responded and even spoke with me through troubleshooting. In the end they sent a replacement and it works great. I use it when rowing and it connects to my phone and concept 2 rower without any issues. I would recommend this purchase.

When I received this product I couldn’t get it to activate. I replaced the battery it shipped with with a new one and still nothing. I contacted mo-fit customer service as they requested and they didn’t respond initially.
Mo-fit did eventually contact me and try and walk me through trying a couple of things to try and get it to activate and sync. It did eventually some what work but, it read my heart rate at 140 bpm. While in a resting position so, I returned it.

This connected to my iPhone and Apple Watch very easy. The readings were right on with my Apple Watch. This is ideal for CrossFitters and those doing lifts like cleans. Nothing on your wrist getting banged up during your workout.
