Purchased direct from manufacturer. The assembly holes do not line up to attach the seat support to main component. Have contacted manufacturer and they are telling me to take it apart and try again. Did that several times – spent hours on it and no resolution. I invested in equipment I cannot use. It’s obvious that there is a defect in the one I got.

Does what we paid for it to do. Seems well built and was easy to assemble. We have owned a Sole elyptical for years and it still looks & works as new. Tough machines!

I tried walking, riding a bike trainer but I was unable to get a rhythm going, nor was I feeling any effect. With the Sole Rower I started off slowly, and after 2 weeks I was up to 1/2 hour in the morning and a 1/2 hour at night and actually enjoying it! I would recommend this machine to anyone who is older and needs to get back into shape.

I had never heard of Sole before when I saw this rower on sale during the holiday season. Although I wanted the Concept II I couldn’t justify the expense of that machine (although I know they are well built). After considering/reconsidering such an expensive blind purchase I pull the trigger and bought in on sale for half price.
It was delivered in two days (thank you Amazon Prime). It is heavy but easy to put together. It took me maybe 30 minutes to assemble by myself (only one mistake on my part). The machine is well-built. I have used it quite a bit in the first month of ownership (15+ times) and I have to say that I am very pleased with the purchase. It is easy to use and yet gives you a good workout. I am doing 30 minutes at a time and only using the manual resistance settings right now (up to 6).
I can feel the results in my arms and gut. I put the machine in my basement and moved a TV down there so I can watch something while I row. The machine is not too loud, althought you do need the TV volume up high.
For some reason I find the rowing machine less boring than the treadmill.

Love the machine. Assembly was easy and I get a great workout out of it. My only issue with it: it does not fold up as it’s supposed to. Really annoying when I want to walk across the room and can’t because the machine takes up most of the space.

Good machine and very easy to assemble. Note if you are putting this together by yourself put on the back support before attaching slide rail to front support …. Much easier…. I will post back on usage later but first few workouts have been great. So you may ask why 4 and not 5 stars. I wanted to draw readers attention to the fact Amazon is selling last years model which does NOT have the wireless resistance controls in the handle as show on the manufactures web site. These are in the 2015 model not on the 2014 model sold here. Since they are both available for the same price this is disappointing. The wireless feature is not worth me packing back the unit and sending it back, however I had know I would have ordered the newest unit from the manufacturer. This would have been no issue if this was say a 100 dollars less at Amazon but it was not. I do not believe this was intentional in anyway by Amazon but was none the less disappointing. Again the equipment is great! Just be aware that u are buying a year back model here without all the features for the same money. Hope this helps

Don’t know about above reviews. I couldn’t feel resistance even I go up to level 16 !! no challenge at all. should have returned it, lazy to do it.
