I cheated assembly as hubby assembled this exercise bike for us while I was out shopping with friends. Husband of the Year award is forthcoming for him…. He didn’t express any major concern regarding difficulty of assembly, and when he has a frustrating project, he lets me know. We ordered this bike to use in our vacation cabin when the mountain weather is severe and we can’t exercise outdoors. Therefore, we expect this item to be a light-use piece of equipment. And frankly, I’m not a cycler even on a good day, so hubby will be the primary user of this item.
We placed the bike on a rectangular mat made for sitting beneath exercise equipment to ensure it doesn’t scoot around even a little bit on our concrete floors. The handle placement is quite angled as compared to the bike we have in our gym at home. I’m only 5′ tall and I had to hunker over instead of sitting up straight…..However, given my plan to use this item as little as possible and let hubby enjoy sweating it out on this bike. For the price point, I consider this feature unfortunate but it doesn’t make the bike unusable.

I ordered this spin bike to use for cross training, when I’m taking a break from running. The price point is hard to argue with. For under $150, it is a bargain!
The assembly was pretty simple, and only took me around 30 minutes. It mainly consisted of bolting pieces together with lag screws, washers, and bolts. The instructions covered the assembly well, and were easy to follow.
The bike is nice and solid. I have it resting on tile, and it has no wobble. I am around 145lbs, and it feels very stable under my weight.
The resistance knob is a little stiff in my opinion, but workable. It does have a small screen that displays your mileage, heart rate, calories burned, speed, and time. The information is displayed only in metric, which might be a surprise to some Americans. I personally was fine with the metric units. The seat is not the most comfortable, but I have yet to find one that is, lol. Spin bikes are generally not the most comfortable. I also had no issue reaching the handlebars in the typical spin bike slouch. I am 5’4″, and this bike fits me just as well as the name brand bikes at my local gym.
Overall, this is a nice spin bike. The price is fantastic at under $150. The construction was simple, and I was riding it in under an hour. It functions as expected. I am personally very pleased with the bike.

The display of the product doesnt say anywhere that the bike is all measured in the metric system. We dont use the metric system here in america . Bike is good . Would need to get mph system or were not keeping the bike

Update: I had to do a lot to make this even a tiny bit more comfortable. 1) Replaced the horrible pedals; 2) replaced the even worse and super uncomfortable seat; 3) turn the handlebar backwards, since the original position makes you hunch forward real far like a bike racer and makes it super uncomfortable on your back and shoulders. This added about $60 to the cost. I have included photos to show you the changes.
There will be a day when they make stationary bikes for people right around five feet. What doesn’t make any sense is that it’s very easy for any company to make the seat and handle low enough for people of all heights to enjoy. And what further doesn’t make any sense is that, since all these stationary bikes are made in China, why not have that practical sense and sensability with your own people in mind? It’s like they think all Americans are huge oafs, and to only make stationary bikes for people who are at least 5’6″. I’m 5’7″, so it’s fine for me, but I got this with my mother in mind, since she’s elderly and exercising is not easy for her. I thought a stationary bike would be perfect for her, and was excited to receive this. We’ve actually tried two others before, with the same results. So I am disappointed as to why stationary bike companies have such a weird and arbitrary threshold for height. I mean, even taking my mother out of the equation, kids and teenagers should have every right to enjoy stationary bikes as well. The search continues…

Assembly for this bike was not complicated. Fortunately, we are familiar with the parts since we owned exercise machines in the past. And they were commercial quality.
Now, for the negative: This stationary bike was not designed for petite people. I stand at 5’1.” As pictured, the model in stock photos was probably a standard 5’4.” So, imagine how much space there is between me and the handles. It is too bad the seat is not adjustable to move forward.
That said, the tall guys in my family had no issue with this. We placed it under a treadmill mat which helped stabilize the machine. For its price of 149 bucks, this bike is a fair value.
