About the only thing that works with it is the ability to shock via the button. The app is terrible, device won’t even update beyond factory settings, has no sort of useful tracking features … save your money, go buy a real wearable if you want one

I am not a morning person. My man is not a morning person. He has to wake up at 6AM for work. I was considering letting the intrusive thoughts win, when his 5th alarm would go off every morning, just to have him fall back asleep on the couch-which lead to me getting out of bed trying to wake him, eventually having to yell to wake him up screaming “you’re gonna be late for work!!!!”. EVERY MORNING. My health started to suffer, I started to get high cholesterol, and I even started to get insomnia because I was scared my man, my money maker was going to start missing work if I didn’t wake up to wake him up, after he’s been awoken 6 time prior to his alarm. HOWEVER…
Pavlok came along. My background in psychology from college got the best of me, and I decided to give pavlok a go and put the psychology concepts to use. Apparently the adrenaline from getting shocked keeps him awake and he doesn’t fall back asleep. He has to wave his arm around aggressively in order to get the watch to stop shocking him.
Now my insomnia is cured, I no longer fear the dreaded mornings of screaming at my man to get him to wake up. Thanks Pavlok.

Why is there no “zero stars” option? After getting a very expensive latest Pavlok 3 model this device is complete garbage…
Wasted hours trying to set it up, followed all the instructions to report the issue, their tech support finally got back to me with the following gem….

Hi There,
I’m sorry to hear that. I am afraid right now Samsung model phones do not pair correctly to the Pavlok device. Do you have a different phone to pair it with?
============
and then when I explained only drug dealers have multiple phones so wtf sort of question is that, they said…
============
The Samsung models have a different Bluetooth settings (compared to other phones) when manufactured, and it was discovered that most of them are not compatible with Pavlok. The Pavlok designs are made to be universally compatible with almost any smartphone, but somehow Samsung models are just a bit different.

Seriously, is this a joke? My smart watch has no issue. My fitbit has no issue. Glucose monitor, headphones, earbuds, a dozen other things from other companies bluetooth perfectly. But Pavlok claims THE PHONE is the problem.
What a trash company with no accountability whatsoever. They deserve a dump truck full of BBB complaints for false advertising.
YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!!

The magnetic watch band of the Pavlok 3 is AWFUL. Do not recommend. It gets stuck on my skin and grabs my hairs… go silicone band for sure.
I’ve tried Pavlok 2 and didn’t mind anything about it with comfort. However… it’s true about the battery life… I recommend disconnecting the watch on the app when you are not using it… I only use it to wake up, and then I disconnect it until next time…
It is nice to be able to set specific customizations and set for certain days of the week. Worth a shot!

I bought this watch and did not like it as it was too heavy and clunky. I put it back in the box and returned it the next day at the UPS store, and got a tracking receipt. No problem, right? It turns out, Amazon said they did not receive it. Amazon is recharging me the $148 dollars pending an investigation. After looking up the tracking number, It does state that it was received at an Amazon facility in Texas. Amazon has not processed the item, which has been close to 2 months since I’ve returned it. Amazon needs to get it together in the processing returns department. Don’t buy expensive items through Amazon. Customer service is terrible!!

The decice works exactly as it should, as long as you can sync the app. They’ve GOT to get some new developers or something.
But I’ve gotten up on time every day for the past 2 weeks and honest to God… my skin is clearer than ever since I’ve got the device set up to remind me to drink water. Went from barely getting 16oz a day to almost 80oz. I feel so much better too. I’m more productive because I’m not rushing in the mornings. I set the tone for the day by having time to be productive or journal. It’s been my game changer. I opted for the jumping jack mode because I didn’t want to have to pick up my phone for any reason. Touching my phone in the AM leads to doom scrolling and I hated that. This has worked well for me. Just wish I could utilize ALL the functionality that the app is supposed to offer.

I’m a proud owner of the first version of the Pavlok wrist band, black color in the attached picture. I’ve been using it for waking up in the mornings ever since I bought it, using its vibration mode. It’s been working great ever since I bought it.
Recently I decided to upgrade my wrist band with a new one, because battery life started to degrade. After noticing that there’s a Pavlok 3 in the market, I decided to place an order for it.
Today I received my Pavlok 3 (white/silver color in the attached picture), did the full setup including updating firmware, charged it to full, and paired it to my iPhone, using their new Mobile App that is required for it.
I set up a few tests alarms in vibration mode, and to my surprise, the vibration mode is barely noticeable. I actually put it side by side with my older model (see attached picture), and I could feel the vibration from my older model just fine, but could barely feel anything vibrating from the newer P3 model. In fact, when the P3 model vibrates, it ends up making so much noise that I fear it my end up waking my wife! The whole point of using this wrist band is to wake me up while letting my wife sleep through my alarms!
All in all, I don’t recommend the Pavlok 3 for waking up in the mornings using its vibration mode. It’s down right useless and it will not wake you up.
