This crosstrainer is exactly like the one I used at the gym. It’s an older model but it works perfectly. The motion is smooth and comfortable. I love it!
My only issue was that several of the straps used to secure the crosstrainer to the shipping crate were driven in with severely warped screws, making their removal very difficult. It took more than an hour for me to get all of the screws out so I could move the crosstrainer off of the pallet and into my house.
Other than that, though, I am delighted with this purchase and would highly recommend both the crosstrainer itself and the seller.

This review is more about Fitness Warehouse, the company that sold the Precor Elliptical. (Anyone with any experience with elliptical equipment knows that Precor is the caviar of ellipticals.) I was a little reluctant to purchase such an expensive piece of equipment on-line. I gambled on a used Precor EFX 833 from Fitness Warehouse at what seemed to be a too-good-to-be-true price. (This model costs about $6,700 new.) I became a little concerned when covid related delays slowed the shipping and delivery of this 410 lb behemoth. But the staff of Fitness Warehouse stayed in contact with me throughout the process and assured me of my satisfaction. They were right. The machine arrived looking like new and working even better than new – better than any I’ve used at the gym and hospital physical therapy. Fitness Warehouse staff contacted me upon delivery checking if I was pleased and offered assistance if I needed any help with the assembly. I was more than pleased.

I love it I get to workout from home now and have my pups right with me instead of going to the gym in the long run I am saving a lot of money in gas as I was a die hard every day of the week, but also in membership fees that seemed to go up in price every year. I could have bought a few used ellipticals by now. I’m glad I bought this. I have been using it daily since it arrived. The only think I miss is the ones at my gym had the bars for your arms/hands . This has a place still but it is stationary and not as natural feeling to me the placement of the hand grips. But regardless I love this. I wish they had helped me get it to the house though I got it into the garage which has been fine for summer but will need to figure out how to get it in my house before winter. Overall I am happy with it. It works and am happy as I have wanted a precor Efx for years now not as hard on my knees like regular ellipticals that seem to have so much forward pressure on the knees.

Fell in love with this elliptical at my local gym and purchased it for my home use. Commercial grade hefty equipment. Weighs a lot (400 lbs) but built to last! Internal generator is charged as you use the machine… It runs the incline motor so it never (NEVER) needs plugged in! It doesn’t even have a plug. Display options and variability at a fingertip is nice. Doesn’t store data (like age and weight) but not too much of an annoyance to enter at a start of the workout. Cup holder has a slot for a phone too. Relatively quiet operation with heart rate grips for target bpm’s. Very happy with my machine and Christian’s Fitness Factory packed it so well for FREE shipping to my door! They also had a tech call us back to troubleshoot a wiring harness connection issue we had. Worth every penny!

This is a great commercial quality machine; it’s exactly what you use at your local fitness club. It’s the gold standard by which all other ellipticals are judged.
The mechanical aspects of it are beyond reproach from every point of view. This is a work horse, designed to take any degree of punishment, engineered with great precision. Everything works flawlessly.
I generally do a manual program work out, setting the resistance and varying the cross ramp to engage different sets of muscles.
So what’s not to like and why only four stars?
Simply stated, this thing is not too bright. For a machine at this price point a much more sophisticated control is in order. Maybe this one can do some of the things I’d like it to, but if so it’s certainly not evident, even after poring over the manual in detail. So it’s either deficient or exceedingly user unfriendly.
As noted, I enter a repetitive manual program for each workout. There should be a simple learn mode that allows the last workout entered to be retained. Similarly, it should be possible to enter parameters for a default user; I renter my weight and age each time. And what would really be nice would be if it would be possible to retain and export workouts to a PC based fitness program. Even inexpensive scales increasingly have bluetooth or wireless capability. Why not this over $ 6 grand behemoth?
If the brains of this brute contained more intelligence it would be close to perfect.

I had always dreamed of having this beauty as part of our home gym and Pound 4 Pound Fitness made this possible. The unit was completely assembled when it arrived. It was in a sturdy pallet so easy to pivot unit off of and place. The elliptical trainer was spotless and blemish free. Better than I expected. I had a couple of questions and called the vendor. A very helpful and kind Eric picked up immediately and answered all of my questions. So smooth. We are going to buy treadmill from Pound 4 Pound.
