I had my eye on this treadmill for awhile but couldn’t find many reviews on it. I’m around 6ft and just over 200lbs so I wanted a solid treadmill that could support me. I ultimately decided to give it a shot and I’m glad I did! It is a solid design without all of the unnecessary stuff like a huge touchscreen. You can connect your own IPad or tablet via Bluetooth and see a lot cool metrics. It’s pretty quiet and goes up to 12mph, which is more than enough for me. The performance has been great and I can’t say anything bad about it!

I recently purchased the Carbon TLX treadmill. It has been great so far! It’s small footprint makes it a nice addition to my home office setup that doesn’t imped on the rest of our house. Overall the functionality is simple to use and effective; I actually prefer this over a more high-tech setup. The controls are straightforward and work as they should. After paying for a gym membership to use for years, this TLX treadmill is a good addition to any home gym!

I replaced my almost 25 year old ProForm treadmill with the TLX and I could not be happier! I did a ton of research across all brands before choosing this treadmill and I’m glad that I did. It has everything that I wanted which includes a 3hp motor, 12% incline, a built in fan, quick controls and a cushioned deck that is very very comfortable to run on. It was very easy to put together and is very well built. I absolutely love it and look forward to using it every day.

Treadmill came as advertised and well packaged. The instructions insist that you need two people to assemble, I was able to pull it off on my own but can’t say I felt particularly safe during all of the steps, so help would be useful and speed things along. I was able to manage getting it together in about 2.5 hours in a pretty tight space. Aligning the belt is not difficult, but make sure you do it from the jump, the treadmill belt will start to shred right away (there is a QR code in the instructions that points to a video about alignment. A couple of the steps in the instructions were a little confusing to me, but I managed to find YouTube videos to help most of the way and the rest I was able to piece together using best judgement. Treadmill runs well (have been using for a month), is not excessively noisy, no trouble yet with the belt skipping. I do not use the built in subscription program, but bypassing it was not difficult and I only needed to go through the instructions to bypass it on the first use. Machine does fold up and folds down very nicely, however, even in the folded up position it is somewhat challenging to move. Overall, would recommend.

The BRAND NEW FOR 2024 ProForm Carbon TLX is an outstanding very attractive quality-built treadmill at a great price! After doing a lot of research and comparing treadmills in the $1,000 – $1,500 price range from all the major manufacturers I purchased this one and I’m very pleased with it. The ProForm Carbon TLX comes very well-packed and partially assembled in a large heavy-duty reinforced cardboard box that weighs 250 lbs so I’m glad I paid the extra $20 for room-of-choice delivery. This treadmill has all the major features and functions of the more expensive treadmills without the big pricy high-definition touchscreen or other unnecessary computerized fitness monitoring gimmicks which are seldom, if ever, used. The ProForm Carbon TLX is designed and built for users up to 300 lbs in weight. It has a powerful heavy-duty 3-hp electric motor, fully adjustable speeds from 1-12 mph, up to 12-degrees in adjustable incline, and a full-size 60-inch-long cushioned running deck… something you won’t find on most treadmills in this price range. All of these features are accessed and controlled with “Quick-Speed” and “Quick-Incline” touch-buttons conveniently located on the nicely designed center console. The build quality of the ProForm Carbon TLX is excellent and the precision machined parts made the treadmill’s assembly very easy to do although you will need two people for the job. My wife supplied the extra pair of hands needed and helped me by holding some of the pieces in place while I bolted everything together. It took us about an hour total and I encountered no problems with poorly fitting or missing parts. There is nothing more frustrating than poorly fitting, or worse yet, missing parts! I should also mention that a very nice set of tools needed for assembly are included so you don’t need to supply any of your own tools… a nice little surprise! My wife and I have both been using this treadmill to run and walk a combined total of 4 to 6 miles every day for the past 3 months and we absolutely love it! My wife really enjoys the built-in 3-speed electric fan and listening to her music on the built-in speakers. I like how quiet and smooth the motor and belt run for both running and walking and having instant access to all of my exercise information on the full-color display screen. I also like how easily the running deck folds up and out of the way so the treadmill doesn’t take up a lot of room when you’re not using it. My previous treadmill did not have this feature. One last thing definitely worth mentioning is that you don’t have to have Internet access or register or sign up for the 30-day free trial of the online iFit exercise program before you can turn on and operate the treadmill as several uninformed people in these reviews claim. All you have to do is simply press and hold down the blue iFit button on the console for about 20-30 seconds and the iFit exercise program is bypassed and the treadmill will operate perfectly… no registration or Internet needed. You only have to do this one time… not every time you turn on the treadmill. The ProForm Carbon TLX is an outstanding very attractive quality-built treadmill with all the features you need at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it and would definitely purchase it again!

Great product, with a lot of features and options. The built in fan is a super bonus and I use that all the time. The quick buttons for speed and incline are great as well. Very durable and easy to walk on. I’ve always been worried about long strides for myself on a treadmill but this one works great. Been walking 5 to 6 times a week for the last month and it still works great. Only thing is if you get this it is very heavy and you should have help putting it together

Assembly Instructions are not clear. Feels like this machine was designed 30 years ago. Secondly if I paid for the machine & I own it then why the hell its locked till I register with iFit. iFit website don’t even have clear instructions on how to register and activate your machine.
Panel is so poorly designed and made that it looks cheap & ugly when you look from the front. Manufacturer didn’t even bother to install a cover under the panel to hide the wires.
I already feel like returning this piece of crap but its already assembled & on the second floor so it will be hard take it downstairs again.

None of us are over 175 lb so we aren’t super big. This treadmill is great for walking and running. It’s nice that it folds up easily. I specifically did not want the ifitness display and this one displays all the information you need without needing to connect to the internet and sign up for a fitness membership. The setup was very doable.
