Instructions ok, pretty easy to put together. Resistance is great. Already used it and I can feel it in my body,,, for the price and size This is an amazing product. Also for somebody with tailbone issues, the seat is amazing.

I was worried I that I would not see any results from a compact, inexpensive rower. I am extremely out of shape, with upper body mush, and I cannot row for 20 consecutive minutes. I started out doing 100 reps (5 minutes) in the morning, and 100 reps in the evening…both prior to walking the dog for cool down. I have not changed my diet significantly, yet.
The rower is extremely simple to assemble. It takes up minimal space, so is perfect for small living quarters. This rower also seems to be very sturdy. This particular rower is also comfortable for those of us with shorter legs.
This is an excellent piece of equipment if budget and/or space is your primary concern.

i usually only write reviews for items that really impress me. This rowing machine is very good. Easy to assembly I did it in 15 minutes after opening the box and lay down all the contents. is very intuitive just follow the written instructions is not complicated and do not need any tools they are included.
Well honestly for the price you cannot find a better exercise machine, Rowing is a complete exercise is good for every part of your body that is why i bought it. This rowing machine has the right strength for me I am a senior not too soft and not too hard. If the machine keeps doing the job i am a very happy puppy. and by the way the counter indicator works just remember to put a battery inside ah ah

I wanted a row machine that wouldn’t take up too much space and this fits the bill. However, it’s not a professional row machine you’d see at a gym. It sits lower to the ground than a professional rower so if squatting low is in issue for you this may pose a problem.
The wheels that slide on the sit to go up and down kept getting stuck on mine creating a friction that caused rubbing noise + plastic like rubbing resistance when rowing so I sprayed some WD40 on every part that rows up and down which seemed to help but it didn’t fully take away the issue.
All in all for a basic rower that is amongst the cheapest on Amazon this isn’t bad but if you’re expecting something you’d see or use at a gym a change of expectations is needed.
Every other rower in this price range will most likely have the same design with the same design issues so my recommendation is if you want a professional rower you’ll need to pay more.
If you want a basic rower that won’t consume too much space then this should work but temper your expectations.

The axis part is way too short to slide through both pedals. I can’t find the company info to get a longer part sent and all Amazon can do is replace it the whole machine. I shouldn’t have to disassemble it, pack it up and send it back. I just need the damn piece

I like it. I’m a beginner to using rowing as a form of exercise. I needed something to see if I would like this type of exercise. The jury is still out on that. Although I do have to admit that I noticed some soreness in certain muscle groups that I’ve been trying to target with other exercises so that is a plus. It was easy to assemble. If you are a short person (I’m 5’4″) it is a good machine for range of motion. I tried a machine at the gym, and it was a disaster because I was too short. I knocked a star off because when you fold it up to store it there are NO clamps or brackets to hold it together folded up. I have to be careful that the seat doesn’t damage the counter. I have resorted to using a small bungee cord to keep it all together. Another annoying design flaw is that the bracket to hold the rowing handle keeps it sticking out the sides instead of folding it down along the side.

Pros – it’s sturdy ( I am 240 lbs).
It’s also light weight.
It’s so easy to assemble with not many parts to worry about.
It is so easy to fold up and put away, perfect for condos and apartments and it glides so easily almost Zen like.
Con – the seat is too small. However I solved that by adding a pillow.
All in all I am so happy with the rower.

I’m 6’1”, 205 lbs. I was on a rowing team 20 years ago. This little rower is easy to put together and put away. It’s very light and, folded, it takes about as much space in my closet as my vacuum. The resistance feels good for a 20 minute row with a little race at the end.
The motion is a little different from a fan rower because the bands provide constant tension, but this was my second time using it, and I’m already comfortable with the difference.
The display is simple, and only really useful for the timer, but that’s all I wanted from it.
If you go hard, use some weights to keep it from lifting off or a mat to stop it sliding. That’s the trade off for having a machine that’s so easy to take out and put away.
For less than $100, this is the machine to buy.

I will say this was easy to install. That’s the only nice thing I can say about this product. Seat seems to be made out of cheap particle board that bent upon sitting for first use. Bummed I missed the return window as I’m not stuck with something I can’t use.
