i love it. it is very easy and comfortable to use. i can row longer periods without feeling sore. i sit a little higher but it was easy to adjust to new height. also easy to remove and install because the straps are stretchy and here are buckles that are easy to put together or take apart if you want to use the buckles. there are rubber like dots on the entire bottom of cushion to keep it on the seat and not move out of alignment while in use. the casing material is very nice. not flimsy, cheap or thin material and the fabric weave feels smooth, not scratchy material. stitch work is nice and the sewing is clean. the zipper is sewn on very nice and straight. very good quality sewing. the memory foam inside is thick, clean with consistent ivory color and well shaped, rounded edges on top of foam and straight edges on the bottom of the foam. it fits the casing very well, no sags or extra material and not tight that the foam is bunched and uneven. I would suggest to check the foam from time to time to make sure no mold develops over time from use and foam does not deteriorate over time. fast shipping. item as described. i like this seat cushion very much. Definitely a quality, well made seat cushion for my indoor rowing machine. No regrets with this purchase!

I have very boney butt and it would hurt after a couple of minutes on my new rower. I research a lot of pads and purchased this one. It was okay but it raises you up pretty high and it wasn’t that much more comfortable. So I purchased the Home and Rowe silicone seat. I liked it better than the 2K seat because it was not as thick and it’s unique shape lets you adjust where your butt makes contact, so you can adjust the pressure points. It’s pretty good. But I thought there must be something better, at least for me. Next I purchased the Hornet Watersports seat. It’s made with polyurethane foam. It’s fairly thin and it shape is similar to the Concept 2 rower seat. I can’t tell you why, but for me, this one was the most comfortable. It has just enough padding to take the edge off my butt but thin enough not to significantly change your sitting height. I suspect pad choice is personal but the Hornet Watersports seat worked best for me. Also, it was the least expensive of the three.

Bought a cheaper alternative to this and found after a short period of use on the rowing machine ended up with a sore backside. Battled on with this for quite awhile and finally decided to buy one of these and after a few sessions I am pleased to say it is like night and day. Best money I have spent as now I enjoy what use to be quite uncomfortable.

I bought this to improve a tailbone-killer rower seat. I like the straps. They do a great job helping the pad stay in place. There is a slightly grippy surface on the bottom of the pad that also keeps it from sliding around. This pad is made from memory foam. From previous experience, memory foam tends to deteriorate over time, so I don’t expect to get more than a year or two of use out of this cushion. I hoped I could find a version of it in a waffle-style silicone gel. That way, if it gets soaked with sweat, you can wash both the cushion and the cover. You can’t do that with memory foam. The only gel style rower cushions are either super thin or way too stiff for long rowing sessions. I’d love to see this manufacturer come out with a gel rower seat that’s like the kayak gel cushions you can find on here.

It makes rowing in my Concept 2 way more comfortable than before. Recommended.

After reading many reviews for many similar products, I decided the thin pads or pads with cutouts for my butt bones would not provide adequate padding or comfort, which is what I was looking for. I found this cushion that had all the features I was looking for and had a thickness that seemed adequate. I have been using it three times per week for the past month and can report that it performs admirably. It is easy to attach and adjust, stable on my Concept 2 rower and is removable if it needs to come off. The fabric cover is sturdy and does not bunch, crease, slide or fold. There is no sign that the cloth cover will stretch and distort the way it is positioned to surround the cushion core and the seams are still perfectly aligned with the core. It does not slip and the edges don’t overlap the edges of the rower seat. I was concerned that the cushion might be high enough that it could allow tilting and a feeling of instability when I rowed or could distort my rowing motion because of the height but neither is true. I would buy it again if necessary and would recommend it highly to anyone looking for a soft Concept 2 rower seat. Other seats cost less but this is a very good value for the way it performs and well worth the difference in price.

Very comfortable. Straps keep cushion in place. Great for those that experience lower back problems.

OMG. First, it fit so great on my proform rower. Second, it’s amazingly comfortable. It is padded properly with a good memory foam.. I was enjoying it less as I was feeling lots of pressure on my tailbone. Now, it’s a game changer. I’m able to use it way longer and enjoy my workout. I wonder why they don’t already sell a rowing machine with proper seating for the price we pay those machine.

The seat cushion is very thick and fits well on the Concept 2 seat. It’s been a godsend to my own backside. I haven’t noticed and slipping around and the straps keep it secure. I would definitely recommend you get one.
