Easy to assemble although the directions are horrible. If it’s too hard to pull, you can loosen the factory assemble parts so it can putt easier. Great for tall people too. I’m almost 6 feet tall and the seat slides back for me to get maximum workout.

Machine was easy to assemble by myself, unfortunately I am too tall to use it and the buyer has to pay for the shipping on a 34lb item! Would not recommend you purchase it due to issues mentioned.

The construction is quite sturdy, good quality materials overall. The one really big issue I have with it : whether you slide the adjustment higher or lower, the cylinders remain at max tension. I’m quite strong a person, but can’t even get up to five consecutive strokes since the cylinders are so tight. Will definitely return this item as I can’t enjoy it. Too bad because I waited almost a month for it to arrive.

Lightweight makes it easy to transport. The shock absorber type things are a bit difficult to use, but that just makes for building more muscle. To get to customer service you have to go through amazon. Hopefully that will change and they will print a phone number on the instruction manual.

So I have been looking for a rowing machine for a while and I chose this one for how basic it is and good price. I read the reviews on Amazon and other sites and it seemed ok. I have to say that it is true the welds are absolute crap. I will be taking it to a shop to be re-welded. Kinda a bummer but I figured if I returned it I would just get another one with the same crappy welds…
