The monitor simply stopped working within several weeks of starting to use it. Unfortunately I didn’t start to use it until a month after I got it, so now I can’t get a refund. Definitely a poor product.

I used the original which is still working but after 6 years of use has 50% of the original battery capacity as expected. The battery life on the 2+ is a huge upgrade and a bonus that the strap is now quicker and easier to fit. Also the multiple Bluetooth in addition to ANT+ connections is useful. These are very accurate as an alternative to wrist based or chest straps and would recommend. I use mine mostly for cycling both indoors with zwift and Trainerroad and outdoors road cycling

Very happy with this and it is very accurate.

works great, great price

Worked great for a month or two. Then, similar to other reviews, the charge didn’t complete and I assumed I placed it in the charger incorrectly. Now it seems to be charged but I am unable to turn the device on. One of the green sensor lights seems to be permanently on, but the device does not connect and is not usable.

the connection to my garmin fenix 6 is dropping several times in my run, no updated app for android

The band was exactly what I was looking for. It syncs with many of my devices for outdoor and indoor cycling. I found what you get for the solid price was great. I like the band as well. Easy to use.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews. I really don’t.
I got this device to monitor to compare readings to my Apple Watch. The Apple Watch does a pretty good job – but it gets confused by my arrhythmia, and frequently shows heart rates in the 40s (due to the arrhythmia).
I was hoping that the Shosche monitor would overlook the arrhythmia and give me a more accurate result than my watch.
I have a pacemaker that doesn’t let my heart rate drop below 85 for more than a few seconds at a time.
As I sit here, writing this review, the Shosche monitor is showing a heart rate of 45. It’s been stuck below 50 for quite a while. The Apple Watch is showing a more accurate heart rate of 90.
Perhaps this Shosche thing would be good for athletes, but it’s certainly wrong for me. (Note – I’ve recharged this a few times, with no change in the reports. The iPhone software shows ‘zones’ – with each zone being higher than the one before it (the higher the heart rate, the higher the zone number), but there’s no way to set the zones, or to set alarms when the rate hits a particular zone.
It works with a few apps – most of which require payment to use — but if the results are inaccurate, what good is the meter – or what it tells the app.
I haven’t contacted the manufacturer about the problems with this device. Perhaps they’ll replace it, but I doubt I’ll have more luck with a new one.
For me, this band is a DEFINITE NO.

Perfect

This is much better than my chest strap. Can sometimes drop signal with apps I use I think this is more user error than product fault. Will never buy a chest strap again.
Andy E –
Got this HR arm band after getting fed up of chest straps failing inside a year of use due to battery covers failing & letting sweat in (plus the discomfort). For the first 2 months it was great, much more comfortable and worked flawlessly. A couple of weeks back, it refused to turn on and connect, I assumed I hadn’t plugged in properly when charging & it worked after charging again. However this week it has done it again, it won’t charge & the only button doesn’t do anything and there’s no reset procedure. Very frustrating as not cheap.
