I got the heart monitor so but I couldn’t upload it to my phone to see if it worked! After numerous attempts it’s not connecting! –
I couldn’t get the Al to do what it was supposed to do…hook up to my phone and give me a reading.

Shows as a bluetooth device, but can’t connect via the normal means. Must connect in the app, which would be fine except I have to turn off NFC. This I cannot do. Medically I cannot defeat NFC for this.
This might explain the difficulties other’s mentioned in reviews. There should be a method coded in the app to deal with this when I want to use it. I’ll miss the opportunity, but it is absurd to have to sift through menus to turn off something more necessary and have to remember to menu back to turn it on. Coders need to address this with some kind of automation.
THe “manual” should also make more obvious mention of this, or perhaps at POS, so there aren’t so many returns.

My husband has congestive heart failure and goes in / out of Afib. I bought this to give him peace of mind and the doctor really liked the reports. Connects easily to Samsung phones. I just wish the instruction booklets were bigger, I had to take pictures of the instructions and zoom in on my phone to read them. I am sure that the average customer is above 60 years old with poor eyesight, even with glasses! so they should take that into consideration. I would rate it a 4.8 due to the frustrating instruction booklet.

I bought this device as a Christmas gift for a dear friend, but neither he nor I could ever get it to work. We are both tech-savvy, but no matter what we did, neither of us could get it to work with our iPhones (iPhone 11). We tried everything! Scanning the QR code on the back of the package goes to the website, but it does not contain any set-up instructions, only glorified promotion messages. We even downloaded the SnapECG app from iTunes, but the app does not work. We kept getting error messages telling us that the password has to be 6-20 characters and so forth, but no matter what password we tried to use, it never would go beyond the setup. This device is a piece-of-you-know-what! I am very disappointed that Amazon still sells it.

We are very disappointed in this device. It absolutely will NOT connect to my Google Pixel 8 or my spouses’ Samsung phone. I can’t tell you how much I wish we could return this item!

I purchased this product because I periodically slip into A-fib and the Kardia-Mobile Personal EKG Monitor reportedly detects this heart rhythm. I can not speak to the accuracy of the actual EKG because, after all, I am not a Cardiologist. However, I can speak to the quality of the device, the ease of use, and even the ease of setup on my smart phone. I set up my phone in about 15 minutes (only because I’m old and not exactly 100% tech savvy) and took my first EKG shortly after. The device seemed to function perfectly and I could see the EKG “strip” right on my phone as it happened! I have not yet tried to use the sharing function but it is comforting to know that I can send an EKG to my Cardiologist whenever I need to. I believe the sale price was a very good value for a device that does what this little machine does and which can be so important. I’m very pleased with this purchase.
