This has been a great product for me to use, I have had to order 2 replacement parts due to me breaking them and each time i have gotten a hand written note.

I deducted one star for delivery method. Package weight is 70 lbs so when shipper uses USPS; they will not deliver an oversize package. Therefore you will get a notification through Amazon of failed delivery attempt. This is not the Post Office fault. You cannot expect your letter carrier to haul a 70 lbs box. Once you realize you did not miss the delivery; you have to figure out which Post Office (hopefully you have only one local) your package is out and go pick-up yourself. Otherwise – the rowing machine is easy to assemble (approximately 30 minutes; and a solid piece of equipment. It is very quiet so if you live somewhere where noise can be a problem – this is perfect. I generally run for my cardio; but wanted to add more variation. This seems perfect. My wife and I use it 30 minutes a day and you feel the workout overall in your arms and legs. If you change up your routine and introduce intervals of 30 seconds of rowing as fast as you can; you will increase your cardio endurance versus just rowing at the same pace for a specific period of time. I recommend this machine as an affordable addition to your home gym. Does not take up much space if folded which only takes a minute by pulling a pin and turning a knob to stand the slide up. Enjoy.
Update 7/13/21. Still have the rowing machine purchased in May 2020. Use 5 days a week; 1,000 rows per day. I estimate I have nearly 300,000 strokes on this machine. I put the one star I deducted initially back because of how much I have enjoyed this piece of equipment and the Customer Service. The LCD monitor stopped working last week. I contacted ShareVgo and explained what was happening. Within 3 days; I received a new LCD monitor for a total cost including shipping of $22.00 dollars.

The row machine showed up with a broken part (Tablet holder). It was not essential to the operation of the unit, but without it you have no spot to put a phone or a tablet. I contacted the company directly and explained the issue. They were very helpful and within 2 days I had the replacement part at no additional cost. Excellent customer service.
The directions to assemble were easy to follow and and took about 15 mins put together. Feels very sturdy when using, and after a couple of days of use have had no issues that are concerning.

Have never used a rower but my husband and I are physically active, however after lots of abuse to our joints we needed a new workout. So glad we bought this rower- customer service is great (hand written note), love supporting a small business and the set up was so easy! I’ve personally been using You tube videos for my workouts and the machine rows smoothly and I like you can get a great workout in a short amount of time!

I purchased this rower above others because of the app that came with it and while I was partially disappointed with the presets, it still wound up being a pretty solid app. This review is going to be two fold as there is the Android App to consider as well as the rower itself.
Pros for the rower:
– Sturdy build. On cement, it did not rock at all like other budget exercise equipment.
– Relatively quiet. Yes, it makes noise but I had a laptop playing a TV show while rowing and could hear it clearly.
– Simple to put together despite there not being any instruction manual.
– Folds for mostly easy storage. There’s two things you need to pull/unscrew before you can fold it but they have spots where you can store them at.
– Varying difficulty settings that work well enough.
Cons for the rower:
– Easy setup with a catch; zero instructions manual. Instead, it comes with the shrink-wrapped nuts and bolts showing only the words Step 1, Step 2, etc. and the nuts/bolts/screws/whatever associated with each step. You have to infer what each step is based on what it provides you as it doesn’t even provide pictures as to where the nuts/bolts/screws are supposed to go.
– Foot pads are exceptionally cheap. They rock with you as you go through the motions but each time I rowed, one of the foot pads would bend and make a pop sound. I know they will break very quickly if I am not careful.
– On board computer is physically designed poorly. When you open the on-board compute compartment, you are not simply opening a flap to access the battery compartment, you are actually taking out the entire on-board computer. Only thing that holds it in place is the wiring leading to the various internal components of the rower. Batteries are held with a velcro strap.
Pros for the ShareVgo Android App:
– Bluetooth enabled tracking. Paired very quickly to my phone through the ShareVgo app
– Initial instructions were very easy to work through
– App appears to be pretty comprehensive for tracking progress
– Easy interface to use that gives metrics for each workout
Cons for the ShareVgo Android App:
– Must be paired with equipment first. When you download and open the ShareVgo app, it requires you to register the app with the equipment you purchased with the QR Code sticker before you can see what the app is about. This means that you cannot review the app beyond pictures provided on listings such as this rower prior to purchase
– No heart rate monitoring (that I have found). Not an issue as I have a fitness tracker to cover that for me.
Conclusion:
This was honestly a leap of faith as there had not been any reviews for this product when I purchased it. Pictures for the app appeared to provide me everything I personally would want. I can say that I was honestly surprised by some things; good and bad. Overall through, it appears to be solid.
Would I recommend this product?
– Yes with caveats. This is a good beginner/entry level product however I am highly concerned about how long the foot pads will last.

It arrived on the front porch. I got it inside and unboxed it so I could carry it upstairs in pieces. I’m a 45 year old women and the hardest part was unboxing! I had it put together in about 20 minutes. It was so simple and everything fit together perfectly. The main reason I purchased this machine was because the reviews all talk about excellent customer service. I’ll update after I’ve used it and let everyone know about the app too!
*** UPDATE ~ it works great! Setup app on phone and iPad and they are perfectly paired with the monitor on the machine. The app is great. Super easy to set up and link to machine. The app has 6 pre-programmed and 6 challenges. You can also add a heart monitor. Nothing to buy or pay for besides the machine. So many machine require a membership and if you don’t buy are difficult to use. it is also very quiet! Totally worth the money!
