Timer is not intuitive to use, even for experienced time trial shooters. The app “Practiscore Log” that you need to use to connect this timer to your phone is $15. Nowhere is that mentioned in the product description. My timer came used, covered in fingerprints, without the belt clip. Buy anything but this for $135.

Saw the Special Pie timer on a Youtube video and decided to try one. It works very well, and the bluetooth connection to the PractiScoreLog app on my phone is very useful for capturing and saving my results. Beep is plenty loud to hear through hearing protection. Controls aren’t totally intuitive and the manual isn’t very informative. Search Youtube for this timer and learn how to operate it from there instead. That’s what I did. Once you get used to the controls they’re no big deal.
The only thing that could be improved is the construction. The plastic feels a little cheap. I guess we’ll see how it holds up over time. I an afraid if I drop it at the range it will break.

This is an awesome product. It is easy to use with accurate shot v.s split times. It is very compact and light weight and the ready beep is highly audible. I was able to hear it clearly through double hearing protection. I do wish. Came with a belt clip though.

This product works great so far. I deducted one star because: it isn’t loud enough to hear through double hearing protection unless you hang it from your shirt; instructions could be better (although there are online videos that are fine); the menu/button configuration is not intuitive at all. Someone with some user interface expertise needs to clean up how the menus are organized and how the buttons are labeled/used.
