The price is what got me hooked on them in the first place. Their battery life varies quite a bit, but I would say 2 or 3 months is about average. I only need to know the number of steps I take, as I know how many steps it takes for a mile with my stride. I noticed that the last ones I bought had more features, like calorie counts, but I found they weren’t very accurate. I check the accuracy from time to time, by stepping off 100 steps. The step count seems to fall off, as the battery weakens. All and all the 2000 is a good buy for the price.

It did not track steps well, at all! It would easily fall off my waistband. To check my steps I had to take it off and it was still hard to open. I retur

Really great Pedometer.
Maggimay –
Very, very hard to open this pedometer. It functioned fine, but to check status you had to almost pry the case apart. So, as a pedometer it worked well, you just couldn’t get it open to see what you walked!

This pedometer was very inexpensive, not too accurate, but I purchased it for a 10-year old who thought that pedometers were clever because I wear one daily. If she loses it, it’s not a huge loss.

They work fine for the most part. I am a PE teacher and use them heavily about once a week with around 220 students. I have had a couple where the battery cover have fallen off and gotten lost, so have to be aware of that issue while being used. I bought them to replace some of the ones that have disappeared over the years. For the price, they are doing the job.

I don’t like all the bells and whistles that so many pedometers try to use just give me the number of steps. Always seems quite accurate. When I was able to run I counted strides and it always seemed to agree.
K-Bear –
Well, it is only showed the count of steps. But I already knew how much I had to step so it is okay. It is easy to use.
