I prefer this water rowing machine over my previous magnetic one. Firstly, it adds an aesthetic touch to the room, resembling a piece of furniture rather than exercise equipment, which is a stark contrast to the look of the magnetic rower. As I don’t have a dedicated exercise space, this integration with the room decor is a huge plus. Additionally, the water rower operates much more quietly, emitting just a gentle “whoosh” while rowing, unlike the noisy operation of the magnetic machine. The seat glides smoothly and quietly, and assembling the machine was extremely simple—just attaching the seat.

I am very unhappy about the quality of this rower. I purchased it from Amazon in Mar 2022 after reading the reviews. They mostly seem positive, so I decided to purchase it. Assembly of the rower was not very difficult for me since I am an engineer, however I am not sure how none engineers/non-technical people feel about it.
Around 6 months after purchase/use, a critical feature on the right footrest (shown in the photos) which guides the red strap, broke off all of a sudden as I was tightening the strap around my foot. Due to this failure, I had to somehow reroute the strap to secure my foot which I am sure is not the design intent. Another point that really bothers me about the straps is that both left and right foot red straps loosen during the workout. That means I have to stop rowing and tighten them.
Around 7 months after purchase/use, the main black belt (shown in the next two photos) started showing significant wear and tear. In fact, in one of the photos, due to rubbing of the belt on the rollers, a great deal of fuzz was produced from the belt which is VERY concerning. I think this belt will break very soon which will make the rower not function at all.
Another concern that is troubling is the support rollers that the seat rides on. They are wearing quickly which is evident on the main rower beam.
Someone from Snode should contact me immediately to discuss these issues and provide a fix.

It’s smooth, solid, attractive, and easy to assemble. We put ours in my son’s vacant bedroom (where he left his 60″ HDTV on the wall) upstairs, so make sure you have help getting the box to the second floor. That was the hardest part of the assembly! Decent directions, even with the language barrier, and all the parts went together with ease. It even comes with a cool water pump and water tablets so you can fill the spinner tank thingy without spilling. It’s fun to use. The only part that made me cuss was getting the digital wiring connected. Old man hands, farsightedness, and tiny connections were not conducive to a good time, but we persevered. Everything works perfectly. Good product.

I’ve been using this rowing machine for three weeks, and I believe it’s a fantastic option. It operates quietly, is easy to assemble, and is user-friendly. I set it to the maximum resistance level and can confidently say it provides the workout I anticipated.
I keep this equipment in my guest room, and it is easy to move and store. All you need to do is lift it to save space, as it doesn’t require much room.
However, there are two aspects I find less favorable. The seat is somewhat hard and could benefit from additional cushioning. Additionally, the foot straps are a bit cumbersome. If the manufacturers address these issues, it could be an excellent choice for anyone looking to train at home with minimal impact.
Overall, it’s a great machine at an affordable price.

I would have ranked five if it wasn’t for the electronic display gadget. The display is very primitive and cannot connect to other devices via Bluetooth or other means. The recommended app by SNODE is also primitive.
But the good news is the rowing machine itself is fantastic, it works very well, easy to install. The seat is comfortable. The noise is very acceptable; I use it in the bedroom without disturbing the wife’s sleep.
