The product itself seems of good quality and was not difficult to put together. I’m glad I went for the water rower the sound of the water is meditative. It’s now my favorite form of exercise and even though I’ve only been using for about a week I can tell it’s making a difference. I actually look forward to rowing.

I do not like the treadmill we currently have and was looking for something else to keep me in shape during the winter months. I love this machine, it’s quite so i can have something playing on my ipad or TV while i’m working out and the time flies by.
I’m in my third week and have increased the water level twice to increase the workout level and it is still fun. I love the outdoors and this fits into my frame of mind to workout on a more regular basic.

Bought this to use at home during the quarantine and I’ve been using it frequently for the last two years – 150+ hours of active use. It was very easy to assemble (about 30 minutes) and the unit is very stable and sturdy. The seat mostly moves well and the rowing stroke is very smooth. The unit works as well as when I bought it and shows very few signs of wear and tear (and I’ve done no maintenance on it!
I’d give this five stars except for one head-scratcher: the distance meter is useless. The display shows distance in kilometers (as well as time, total strokes, strokes per minute and calories) but the calibration is completely wrong. My typical 500 meter time on other rowers is around 2:00. On this rower I’m at .1km or 100 meters at the 2:00 mark. Every brand of rower has a slight variation in measurement but the calibration on this is not even close.
Overall this is a very good home rower. The unit is well built (with one design flaw) and heavy so it’s unwieldy to move but it doesn’t slide or wobble when using it. At half the price of the higher-end brands this is a good value; it’d be truly stellar if the distance meter was corrected.

So far I like this rowing machine, it seems to be very well made and it was easy to put together. I am very happy with my purchase and I would buy this again, especially at the 499.00 I paid for it. To me the seat is very comfortable and glides up and down the rail with ease. The water splashing around in the container sounds like I am on the lake rowing a boat, it’s not to loud and should not bother anyone in the next room. I can row and watch TV with the volume at a normal level. If you want a machine that will help tone your body I think this will do it but if you are after something that is comparable to lifting weights, then this is not for you.

The concept of the machine is great. However, after less then one hour of use, the strap that’s attached to the handle started to fray, to the point, where another hour or so of use and it would’ve broke. The seat started to wear grooves on the track, scraping the paint of same. I’m about 190 lbs, so that’s not an issue. After calling customer service to advise of the defects, the agent says “Oh, we are aware of that problem, and we can send you the updated strap, and email you the instructions on replacement. So I said, so you knew about the problem, but sold the item anyway? So when the strap breaks, and a customer gets hurt, you’re liable? Customer agent says, in a nasty tone, “Well, that hasn’t happened yet, SIRRRR” Oh no, well maybe I’ll be the first. Returning ASAP, keep your POS replacement. Check out the photo.

Big waste of money. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on a different rowing machine. I had bought this in June of 2017. At first it worked great. Was a good work out. Then about 3 week later the strap would skip the track pretty much every work out. It would the lock into the wheel. I would have to remove the cover to in wedge it. This would cause damage to the strap and fray it. I had to rig a way for this not to skip with duct tape. This is 3 weeks after I bought it. Then after that the strap would start to sip causing to much slack and it would not engage correctly I. In the back stroke. This would totally ruin the momentum needed to do the steps correctly to row. I had to totally remove the strap and find the Velcro they use was cheap and barley would hold. I bought me industrial Velcro from Home Depot and then was able to fix the problem. Until about a month later the bungee would be over stretched and the strap would slip again. This is now only 2 -3 months after buy this machine new. So to fix this I had to wrap the Excess strap around the handle til there was barely any strap lenth left jut enough to do a full stroke and engage the bungee corectly after all these modifications it seemed work by this time it was September time. I had bought it in June. There is no good explanation they could have why Tim machine costing $700 should fall apart so fast with so many issues. Luckily it worked for me up till about late December when the computer just stopped working for no reason. I use separate interval timer that actually is my work out timer so I didn’t need the computer to actually do my workouts but it was frustrating to not be able to monitor my calories burned or distant went. From December open until one week ago which now is April 10 2018 that’s less than a full year the foot pad finally started to flex and bend I could see the welds about to give out. At this point I was fed up with this machine. I lost all joy in working out on it. And it’s hard enough to push myself to even use it. I had to put a small piece of wood so I can continue using it. Luckily some how I did use it every morning so I was able to keep to a regular routine. Unfortunately I was doing it on a modified workout machine that made me constantly feel like at any moment would break again so there was little joy in doing this. The only thing I can say good about this machine is it gave me hope that rowing machines are a great work out I just needed a better quality one. So last week I upgraded to a much better unit I spent twice as much and I am twice is happy with the new machine. If you’re thinking about buying this unit I would think again and spend your money more wisely on something more expensive as it will cost you less problems and frustrations. I’m giving this a one star review as I have to just to be able to post a review. I hope this helps if you’re deciding to buy this machine to be very careful and read other reviews of people that have the same problems this is just a cheap Lee made alternative to people that are not willing to spend more money on quality exercise equipment but in the long run it’s going to cost you more or could hurt you .

Rail will make a “thunk-thunk” noise as you move in close and move out. This gets very very annoying and may lead to soreness on your butt. If you can get past that, this rowing machine does the job. I find the seat is too jiggly and unstable for my liking. During intense work outs you may go off balance causing the seat to click left or right or forward or backward. Not a pleasant experience.

Muy fácil de ensamblar. Funciona muy bien. Su resistencia aún en el nivel máximo de agua es menor que una remadora de aire, pero esto es normal en las remadoras de agua. 100% recomendable
