You have to have decent balance to use a stepper like this but I like it because I can tuck it away anywhere.
It has an LED screen that will count steps, calories and time.
The only thing I do not like is that I see no way to increase the resistance. I’ve looked at the instructions several times and I can’t find anything about the resistance of the steps.
Since I haven’t used any kind of stepper in many years I have to work my way up to time using it and how many steps I’m taking.
I think it is just perfect.

This is a mini portable home stepper. This is a good quality stepper with digital information pad. Portable to allow you to place where and when you would like to work out. After a use or two, the stepper becomes more fluid and smooth. It does have some weight to it and does not slip or slide when in use. Resistance bands are included. It is quiet so you can step anytime of the day that works for you.

I had a previous stepper that was a twist stepper–it was awful on my hips and I returned it. Then I saw this one that didn’t force your hips to twist, so I got it. IT’S AMAZING! This stepper does not hurt my hips, and in fact is very comfortable to use. It’s footprint is smaller than my previous stepper, yet it’s more stable and sturdy! It’s incredibly well made and comes already built. It’s also very light compared to my previous one. It also really is QUIET! Almost silent operation. I have used this numerous times and I can tell you that you “feel the burn” with it!
The one aspect of this stepper that unfortunately is not great (and the one spot the previous one shined) is the monitor/tracker. When I put a battery in it, the motion from placing the battery and turning over the monitor told me I’d taken 4 steps. HA! Then the maneuver of placing the monitor back onto the machine gave me a few more steps. It’s not entirely accurate, but it’s not the end of the world.

I like that you can get a real rack-up-a-l’il-sweat experience with this VERTEXFORCE mini stepper. It is well made, with high quality materials, especially good for a small space. And the pedals are a more accommodating size than many in this price range.
A note… It doesn’t fit under a bed or similar space. But it’s an attractive piece so I have no problem having it out against a wall, just a clear plastic dust cover thrown over it. Inspires me to use it when I can see it 🙂
If I wished for something to enhance it, I’d say the tension, as there’s no way to adjust that. I appreciate the resistance, but on such a small piece of equipment, the balance between your pressure and its tension can be awkward unless, or until you get a rhythm going.
It is a great addition and compliment to a small treadmill I have. And I like having equipment in my apartment that doesn’t take up much space.
I do recommend this stepper for your at home workouts.

This stepper machine is very well made. Very sturdy. It doesn’t take up much space at all which I love, because I can pretty much put it in any room.. One big downfall of this particular machine is that it’s difficult to step. Several people tried it and said the same thing. There is no adjusting it for your needs. Per the suggestion in the instruction’s manual, I started with 5 minutes and gradually increased. It did get easier with each day. The instructions manual was not very clear on the actual calculations screen and what each one means, so to me, that was also a downfall. Overall, I really do like this stepper, as it has motivated me to exercise more.

I’ve used this for a few weeks and it provides a convenient way for me to excercise in front of the tv. It is relatively stable when I step onto it I was afraid of falling over at first but I have never fallen. The stepper itself is pretty much ready out the box and can be adjusted to increase the difficulty. I’ve very much enjoyed having it as a simple way to add additional excercise!

This stepper machine seems to be made very well with heavy metal parts for the base and under the footpads, making it really sturdy and structurally sound for people up to 350 pounds, so they say. It’s hefty, but it’s not too heavy for me to move it where I need it. Compared to the big stair machines at the gym, this stepper has a small footprint (just 13” x 17”) and takes up little floor space. The non-slip feet along with the weight of the stepper itself keep it from sliding around or rocking while being used.
I’ve tried using it with shoes on and off, and it’s comfortable either way. The soft PVC on the footpads actually feel good on bare feet. I’m not used to using a stepper machine, so for me, this is quite a workout. It gets my heart beating and I can only use it for about 5 minutes at a time because my muscles aren’t used to it. I really feel it in my knees, calves, quads, hamstrings, and glutes. I actually wish there was a way to adjust the tension so I could make it easier to use while I’m a beginner, and then work up to a harder push. I’m not finding this to be a perfectly smooth glide either – it seems that there is a slight pause at the bottom of each stroke – maybe it’s because I’m new to this, or maybe it’s the way these hydraulic pumps work.
This stepper is non-electric and makes no noise. There is a display monitor attached to the base between the footpads to show number of reps, time, and calories burned. I can’t really see it well while I’m using it because it is small and not lighted, but I can always look at it when I’m done to see my progress. I found it helpful to place the stepper next to another piece of exercise equipment that has handles, so I have something to hold onto for balance. If it came with an optional handle, that would have been ideal. The resistance bands were completely missing from my product, so I can’t comment on those. All in all, this is a quality piece of exercise equipment, though it still has room for improvement.
