It doesn’t wobble and gives good resistance. I like the counter so I don’t have to keep track. But one of the nuts on the mechanism keeps coming loose every time we use it. It flew off once and since then just won’t stay on. I have to crank it back down every time now. And I’m afraid to go over about 400 steps (200 on the counter) or it may fly off or I’d have to stop in the middle of a workout to make sure it doesn’t come off. Super annoying.

The exercise benefit comes more from standing up but I use the stepper as a seated passenger in our car when on long road trips. A few minutes each hour keeps my legs from cramping up. Because the muscles are looser, I can get out of the car so much easier without having to hobble into rest areas or to a picnic table. You can adjust the height of the pedals but not the resistance. The right pedal started making a squeaking noise after only a few uses, though. It made my husband (who was driving) crazy until he figured out the sound was coming from my stepper. The box includes an oil and a wrench but there are no instructions whatsoever. I could not even figure out how to adjust the height of the pedals – had to search YouTube videos until I found one that explained what to do. I haven’t yet figured out how to fix the squeak. I was going to attach a picture of the “instructions” but cannot find the card. Maybe someone else already did. Bottom line – the mini stepper is useful and I’m glad I bought it but maintenance info would have been much appreciated.

This product is not safe. First a screw came lose and fell out from the stepper, then the plastic flipped and the strap came off hitting me in the face. The straps shouldn’t be clipped with plastic clips. This thing is an accident waiting to happen. I had to discontinue use.

I love this. It’s a great workout machine to have if you don’t have a lot of room, it’s easy to set up and easy to use. It comes with a mat to put under it and keep it stable and prevent slipping. I love it and enjoy using it.
Oh it also keeps track of your steps, calories, and speed.

I got this solely on the fact that my co-worker purchased one and said she loved it. After searching different sites to include Amazon for about a week, I finally found this one for a decent price. So I purchased it. It was easy to completely put together. It only required popping on the “feet” and screwing in the tension rod. Super simple. I have it sitting right next to my couch so I have no excuse to not use it. Definitely recommend!

If you want an affordable and effective stepper, look no further. The resistance bands are easy to use while stepping. I began using the stepper for my DVT recovery. It works great whether you are sitting or standing.
