This Sunny Circuit Zone Elliptical is a solid, beautifully designed and built machine. It’s worth much more than the price.
I am a perfectionist. I want absolute whisper quiet performance from the sliding rails, and no rattling, squeaking, clanking, or grunting noises from the moving parts. I want to look at a well-built machine without cheap elbow joints, screws or bolts, and this elliptical satisfies my every demand. It is built to last way beyond my lifetime and still look as beautiful and operate as quietly as it does today.
I chose this elliptical for it’s 16” stride, which is a good, medium length for a person of average height. If you’re tall, you may prefer a few more inches. It’s important to find a stride length that is comfortable for you, so you may want to try out some ellipticals at the gym or a sporting goods store before making your purchase. I was not comfortable with the 20” strides at the gym, so I chose 16,” and it’s perfect for me.
I put it together easily in an afternoon. When I first tried it, I was surprised by the seemingly difficult resistance at the lowest level. I am used to the effortless glide of the ellipticals at the gym, so I called the man who maintains the gym equipment, and also a salesman at a sporting goods store. Both of them advised me to give it some time to break in. The salesman tried out a similarly-priced elliptical in the store, for comparison, and said he felt the burn almost immediately on that one, too. So, for the first week, I used it for a few minutes at a time, several times during the day. After two weeks, it has become much easier, so the machine and I have broken in together. Already, I feel stronger and more energized than I have in years. I recommend beginning with programs 21-24 with level 1 resistance, and working your way up from there.
One huge, unexpected benefit is that the pain and circulation issues in my left knee and leg, caused by a fall a few years ago, have ceased entirely. I had been using a treadmill and rebounder, both of which made the pain worse. The Sunny elliptical operates with fluid body movements that put no pressure on the joints, while still giving an excellent cardio and total body workout.
I live in an apartment building with neighbors below me, and I was not using my treadmill as often as I wanted to, for fear of annoying them with the noise. I like to exercise in the evening, during the day, on weekends, and basically whenever I feel like it. During the winter, indoor exercise is even more important. To my amazement and delight, the Sunny elliptical is almost silent. The only sound is the soft swishing of the wheels on the aluminum rails. This quiet movement is easily maintained by occasionally wiping the dust off the rails and adding some silicone treadmill lubricant by Impresa.
In conclusion, the Sunny Circuit Zone Elliptical rates 5 stars in every way. The quality is equivalent or superior to more expensive models. Even the price gets five stars. I will be using this magnificent machine for the rest of my life.
Update after a month….
This elliptical has changed my life !! I use it 4-5 times during the day to get my heart rate going, to lift my spirits, and just to enjoy the ride. It’s my happy place. After breaking in, it now glides easily at the lowest resistance level.
As for noise, it’s as quiet as ever. I enjoy exercising any time of the day or night, and my neighbors can’t hear a thing.
Extra benefit: I am losing weight without dieting, and I feel wonderful.
I wish I had bought this elliptical years ago. What a pleasure. It’s the best thing I own, because everything else in life is enhanced when I’m energized, strong and happy. 😉

Okay first let me tell you I’m a sceptic by nature and I do t make impulsive purchases. I reviewed ellipticals for a long time. I had a feeling the pandemic would limit my daily activity (not going to the gym). Therefore I decided to make my spare room a home gym. I watched hours of YouTube videos and came across Sunny Health and Fitness. The reviews were good, so I decided to purchase this elliptical. I’m 5’3 163.lbs and one of the reviewers that I watched specified the that the box the elliptical comes in is very large. They were not kidding; is big and heavy so you will need two people to bring it in the house. The box is more wide than tall; hope that helps someone. Assembly is good if you are the patient one out of the two. Hint two persons are needed to put it together. Start to finish 2.5 hours. The number one issue is make sure the foot pedals are in the correct position before bolting everything down. Second most important put the cup holder on before the handle bars. There are two very small grease containers. PLEASE GREASE AS THE DIRECTIONS SPECIFY. if you do not grease you will hear some noises. The elliptical makes NO NOISE!!! At least not for me. My boyfriend has to come look for me when he does not hear me moving about the house; sure enough I am working out and he is not aware. He always comments “wow this thing is so quiet”. I discover much to my chagrin, a top the console is a cradle (or magazine rack I call it), it can fit my Mac laptop 15inch perfectly. I watch movies, workout videos; especially the elliptical ones.
Some cons there is not a pause button. So if you stop to get some water the time on the console is still running. If you don’t return it will turn it’s off. Also there is resistance but no incline, but there are so many modes to workout on that I do t miss the incline.
This elliptical is of good quality and durable for the price, from purchase date to arrival 8 days. Some context I didn’t provide initially. I live in a bougie condo building; you know the ones were no one says hi or make any eye contact Lol; hey it is I reside on the 3rd floor and workout 5-6 times a week without a work out mat underneath, and there has been no issues. Long story short this is a good purchase.
**Also I did purchase the protection plan just in case.

It took some searching to find the right machine; one where the pedals don’t make my feet angle downward and put pressure on my toes. And one that does not require a subscription to an app. And one that is not too expensive. Well I found the right one with this elliptical trainer. Easy to program the settings. It has a drink holder, an added plus. It did take me some hours to put together, but I am older too. The pedals are large enough for big feet. I am just super happy with this purchase.

The predrilled holes on the base didn’t line up with the the ones on the front of the machine causing the back of the machine ti rise up off the floor about two inches. Had to put boards under the front rollers to make it sit level. It makes a noise when You use it. The covers for the rollers were wrong. Received two of the same side so couldn’t put them on the left side. The pedals kept rubbing the screws on the silver plate on the base of the machine because a lot of the parts weren’t lining up right. Assembly instructions were bad, no parts were numbered you had to go by the picture. I am very disappointed with this machine. It cost way too much for such shoddy workmanship. I would send it back but it’s to heavy and I would never get it back in the box it came in.
