I have had this bike for almost a month and I love it! its really quiet and isn’t too bulky. Its also very easy to move and does not take much effort at all. Its a little different from the spin bikes that i use at the gym because of the leather resistance but overall its a great bike!

I love spinning and this is a great bike.

We ordered the SF-B1509/C model (with dual pedal type) along with a phone holder, and Wahoo RPM speed and cadence sensors.
Assembly took about 20-30 minutes once everything was out of the box; there is nothing complicated. One nice bonus is that it came with ALL tools needed for assembly, including a full wrench. All you need is a box-cutter to open packaging, and cut straps and ties.
I’ve used the bike a couple of times so far and the bike is quiet, very solid construction, and seems like a nice buy overall. The seat seems to be just an inch or so wider on each side than my road bike seat. If you are sensitive to sitting on those narrow seats, you may want to use padded bike shorts or underwear, and/or a gel seat cover.
Pair your phone to the speed/cadence sensors (1x setup only), mount your phone to the handlebars, and stream a spin class from your favorite site. You’ll have your speed and cadence stats right there while you exercise. It’s a nice cost-effective setup compared to some of the expensive bikes and digital monitors. If you have an ANT-compatible heart-rate monitor straps, you can also get those stats on your Wahoo fitness app along with everything else. I’m happy from what I’ve experienced so far.

I was looking for a straight forward exercise bike without the tech or monitor because I’m not interested in knowing my heart rate, distance, speed or timer, nor am i interested in online classes with someone reeling a list of motivational clichés to keep me going (you know the brand name). I purchased this on 22/12/2022 and paid £159.10 sold by Amazon EU S.a.r.L then a couple of days later notices the price hiked up to £329.99 glad I’m brought this when I did now, plus there isn’t a warranty on this outside USA I’m in the UK.
Setup was easy to do and the tools were included, but keep hold of the manual as it has instructions for maintenance required for daily-weekly and monthly including belt tightening should a problem arise. Also Sunny have some maintenance videos on YouTube to help you with removing the felt/leather pads for oiling but you can also use a clean wire brush to rough the leather up a bit for extra friction.
So having used this for 1 week now I cannot fault this exercise bike it has been silent to use. I set a 45 minute timer on my echo dot and the bike is Infront of the bedroom TV and I watch indoor cycling on YouTube so its like having a cycle simulator and its easier and safer as its winter months with cold dark mornings to roll out of bed and use this set up (cycling around the alps LOL) than dragging myself outside in the wintry conditions. Overall I’m pleased.

Easy to set up with the enclosed tool and had it up and running in about 15 minutes. Bike is solid and allows me to complete my workouts with ease. Weight is solid (does not move around) and well balanced when moving out of the way to store. Put a Wahoo and cadence and sensor on it and got the Peleton app. For a fraction of the cost, I can now enjoy Peleton rides on this great bike.

This bike might be fairly decent if it weren’t for the clearly known defects with the pedals/crank arms. If you look at the recent reviews, or just scroll through more than the couple of top reviews, you will see many people having the same issue. I used the bike approximately 10 times before the right pedal came loose. When I went to tighten it, I realized the threads were stripped on the crank arm end. I contacted Sunny to ask for a replacement crank arm. They were very slow to respond, but after some back and forth they agreed to send a replacement. In the meantime, they sent me instructions on how to remove the current crank arm. I purchased the special tool required to remove it and it would not come off the bike. Now, out money for this special tool, Sunny recommended I use a rubber mallet and force it off – pretty sure that’s not how this should have to work. While I thought it was ridiculous, I gave it a try. Still no luck. I reached out to Sunny again asking that they either send someone out to assist with the repair or send me a new body of the bike. They refused. Even though the bike is under a three year structural warranty, the parts warranty is only for 180 days (which I was out of) and they claimed that since the part could theoretically be removed that there was nothing they could do. So now I am left with a bike that I paid nearly $400 for and rode 10 times that is entirely non-functional. It would be one thing if I was the only person who had this problem, but for numerous people to have the same problem, and this is the customer service they offer, is absolutely unacceptable. There are hundreds of spin bike brands out there. I’d recommend going with a different one.

I’ve taken spin classes in 6 gyms over more than a decade, I know what a spin bike should feel like. Gym bikes can be great, when they’re well maintained. They are very heavy, strong enough to handle out-of-saddle power without feeling flimsy, smooth/quiet, and have a great range of easily controllable resistance.
I’ve only had the Sunny for a week and have now ridden it five times. First encounter with the shipping box was surprising, the box was too heavy to carry. The bike has to weigh over 100 pounds which was/is an initial sign of quality. Unpacking was simple, the build was beyond easy. The only thing I could think of that could possibly confuse is that the left pedal is reverse threaded, like on an actual bicycle.
First ride, very promising. The heavy frame is well designed and rigid, no concerns about stiffness or overpowering the bike. It’s very quiet, watching a TV show would barely require raising the volume. The flywheel is 40 pounds which makes for a consistent feel at the pedal. I had a few concerns, all regarding resistance. 1) Touchy! A few millimeters separated light resistance from very heavy which made it hard to precisely dial it in. 2) Worse – The resistance also had a considerable random factor. Over a heavy pedal section, without touching the resistance the pedals went from manageable to overly heavy where I’d have to back off the resistance then add back on slowly. This isn’t something you want to fiddle with when hammering. After a few more rides, I realized the issue was with cadence – a manageable resistance at say 90 rpm became harder at 70 rpm which had the perverse effect of feeding back on itself and rapidly stopping the flywheel. No bueno.
I assumed especially the second problem could be just bedding in the brake which was obviously new upon delivery. Rides 2 – 4 weren’t any better and I was preparing to message Sunny about it. I reviewed the manual which didn’t touch on these challenges. There was a note about a monthly application of silicone-based lubricant. Looking on-line, this is a common suggestion for various spin bike brake issues so I got some and tried that. I put it on last night and did a hard ride today – fixed, 100%, on both concerns.
It’s only been one ride but my issue was narrow and has been completely solved. I think Sunny should include a small bottle in the package. The ride went from a ‘pretty good, but . . .’ to absolutely terrific. The bike rides as well as any gym bike I’ve been on. It’s easily worth 5 stars and easily worth the price. I can’t imagine I’m the only person that’s had brake issues and even people that don’t consider them issues would be tremendously benefited by having some silicone lubricant on the brake pad. So, so money.

Bought this for aerobic exercise in an area that does not have a gym. Easy to assemble, had a small plastic part that was damaged in shipment who’s replacement was sent immediately and it was easy to install. The chain is noisy .. the sprockets are either too small or the chain is not of good quality or both. Much louder if wheel break is at higher levels. Not sure about the belt model .. I think that I’d experience slippage with the strength and effort that I put into the exercise. I’d buy it again if I had to but would look for a quieter model.
