Not difficult to put together, easy to use. Only issue was one of the pedal straps was cut/broken. It had 2 notches to adjust the size of shoe/foot so was able to use the other. Manufacturer was quick to respond and had agreed to replace the strap or entire pedal whichever is appropriate to fix the issue.

I use the SF-B2883 for daily exercise, since the winter is snowy in New York City and the gym I usually use is closed due to Covid. I would have preferred to buy a recumbent bike since that’s what I’m used to using at the gym, but the compact footprint of the B2883 is much better suited to apartment living. I’ve been using the bike for just a month so far and I am very pleased with my purchase.
I was concerned that the quality of the bike might be low because it was relatively inexpensive. But that was not the case. It’s solidly constructed and works well. And, before I forget to mention it, it was easy to assemble. Most of the bolts and other hardware come already affixed to the area of the bike to which they will be permanently fastened. This saves you a lot of time–you don’t have to look through a pile of hardware each step of the way.
The ride is consistently smooth and it’s quiet thanks to the belt drive. The electromagnetic resistance works well (so far, I’ve only been using a singe intermediate resistance level). The console is not as sophisticated as those on commercial gym bikes, but it certainly has all the stuff I need. The bike is stable when I ride, and also when I get on and off.
On the minus side, I find that the seat is not as comfortable as it should be. I may try to find a padded seat cover for it and see if that does the trick. Also, I wish that the handlebars were adjustable because, due to the relative positioning of the seat and handlebars, holding onto the handlebars forces your arms into a leaning position. One of my shoulders is arthritic and this leaning position aggravates it. Since I first wrote this review, I have beeb able to alleviate both these issues somewhat by re-adjusting the seat to a more forward position.
So far, I’m very happy with my choice.

Background: I am a gym rat who has no gym to go to. My book, IMO, walking/jogging is a better calorie burning exercise than a bike (3 miles is like 30 miles in Cal burn), …that is just my opinion…but it’s too hot out right now and unfortunately age is catching up to me. Elliptical would be best but space is limited and bike is a compromise during a time of shortage of at home cardio fitness equipment. Plus a high quality treadmill/elliptical is equal to one year at a high end gym. Let’s not get into Peloton.
The good… this is a fairly inexpensive temporary solution that takes up a small amount of space. Wanted an upright over a spin/stationary cycle mainly because of the standing/full bent riding position and I don’t like the noisy flywheel design.
Putting together. Standard pain in the tush allen wrench self-assembly with some opportunity to use a power tool. 1.5+ hours and would be better if I had an allen wrench driver set or they made it a hex nut.
3.5* = Product First impressions…mixed bag. Bottom parts are solid steel. Other parts (like handlebars, cup holder, and the main drive shaft are “aluminum feeling” and “tinny” like most of today’s engineered products to cut costs. This is DEFINITELY not high end gym quality… but hopefully will get me through to the fall when you can walk without the humidity.
2.5* the seat to handle bar is about an inch or 2 too far way. Adjusting seat closer helps but I used to have an old Reebok bike I gave away that was way more comfortable for arm positions. Adjusting seat forward seems to help
2.0 to 2.5* onboard program unit. Cheap plastic with a place to put your phone/tablet. The computer is simple with no true manual mode, although each individual program can be adjusted. Only had a month + and yes the machine does seem to make noise when switching gears like other reviews have mentioned.
3.5* seat. Pretty uncomfortable at first but after finding the sweet zone it’s not bad. 40 minutes is about the max with a couple minutes break but easily can do an hour plus a day. Gel seat cover might help.
Durability is the big question mark. I believe it’s rated 240 lbs because if you really press down on main handle bar assembly a strong or heavy person can snap it. Looks like something that will strip with time. Resistance changes seems a little sketchy and I bought the extended warranty just to be safe
Starting out with 4* rating but should really be like 3.25 or 3.5.

UPDATED: I’m so disappointed that our bike broke. The gears started sounding strange. We could still workout, but then the gears just broke and now there’s no resistance at all. I liked everything else about this bike (except maybe the seat being somewhat uncomfortable), but after 2 months it’s unusable and we have to deal with returning during the pandemic, and also finding something else so we’re not dormant for too long. We needed this for cardio and health reasons, so I’m very upset it didn’t even last a season. Sadly, I won’t be purchasing from Sunny again.
OLD REVIEW: It’s a basic bike but it’s really held up! It’s super quiet, took about 1-1.5 hours to assemble with two people, and is easy to move. It look up much less space than I thought it would and it moves to the side of our small apartment very easily, using the wheels or not. It’s not a Peleton, but the basic workout functions are all I need. It also looks pretty nice, the handles are comfortable, and track HR – though I have to hold it for a bit to do so. There’s a nice water bottle holder and shelf for my phone so I can watch shows or listen to music at the same time. Well worth the price, and I don’t miss the gym!
