Ok to hold laptop on but can’t really type much

When I first opened this I wasn’t sure what to think. It is a flat tray that comes with six blocks you can stick on it. Then I flipped the tray over and discovered they fit in spaces on the back side. In the picture the blocks are in the spaces upside down, so to adhere them I removed the white protective cover and pushed the sticky side down. They adhered great. This increased the angle of the board some but because the block drops into the recess of the board it only increases it a little. So I decided to add a second block to each of the first ones and that raised the board so it was almost parallel to the ground. As I worked out it help my laptop in place with no problem. I placed a third block under each side but that was too high and made the back a bit wobbly. So Instead i overlapped the blocks on top of each other and used that as a wedge at the back just as added security. It probably doesn’t need it but at least it gave me a place to put the other blocks and there is no way that tray is coming off now unless I first pull them out! The instructions aren’t that great, but the end product was worth it!

My husband and I both use the Peloton and we won’t be using the laptop tray all the time. Having something that’s easy to remove but stable enough to support a laptop was what we were looking for. We got that with this product! I do volunteering online and this will allow me to do that support while getting in a ride.
It was easy to install and use. We were even able to leave a off-brand cellphone tray on the bike while using this laptop tray. It’s nice not having to switch out products.
One thing to note: If you have longer legs, you may need to raise the handlebars slightly so your knees won’t hit the tray. We have our handlebars set at level g and my 6′ tall husband would hit his knees on the tray. I’m 5′ 4″ and don’t have that problem; since I’m the one that will be using this tray, we’re leaving the handlebars where they are.

I was hoping I could somehow rig this up to work on my Nordictrack studio cycle, even though it’s significantly different from the Peloton. I’m sad I can’t, because it’s a really nice little tray. Just plastic, but it does secure nicely and is pretty stable. Definitely recommend if you have a Peloton and want to add some tray space!

This is my third go at a tabletop for the Peloton Bike for when I am teleworking. It’s the best so far, but still not there yet as far as my ideal perfect fit would be.
Easy to install: This fits on the Peloton Bike with included styrofoam blocks (came with six [6] total). I used two stuck together, then to the tabletop tray for what I wanted in the middle of the tray. The top of the tray rests through the middle hump bar. From there the tray just rests atop the handle bar. The way I set mine up, it is sturdy left to right and down (obviously it can flip up if hit and would not be stable in that direction since it doesn’t lock in place). Height is okay for typing but not the best ergonomically. I’d like something higher and closer, but again this is the best thus far. I am able to lean forward to still use the sides on the lower handle bars in first position – while also freely moving to second and third if desired. Using for zoom calls at the moment, but if I needed to type anything while wanting the sit and pedal, the ergonomics would eventually not work. My suggestion would be to use for zoom conferences, watching videos, or verbal transcription. It’s not functional for continual typing.
To compare, I was using a large and wide acrylic piece which was cutting into my handle bars. This one is not looking like it will cause damage to my expensive exercise equipment. And I wasn’t able to go from 1st, 2nd or 3rd position with that tray. As stated earlier, this one being narrow allows more freedom of movement. 🙂
This being the best between the three I’ve tried – def think the value for money is on point. This is my very happy medium.

This is the perfect tray for my tablet or laptop to keep me entertained while I am riding my peleton. I can get a show going or watch youtube while working out and extend my workout. It does not interfere with my workout and is nice and sturdy.

This tray is simply a piece of plastic that fits over the handlebars of a Peloton. There is no mechanism to keep it in place, it simply balances there. You could see this as a pro or con since it does remove very easily, but also doesn’t have the greatest stability.
For the price, I would expect a much better value. The only way to adjust the angle of the tray is by using the adhesive foam blocks included. So, if you want to use it at one angle one day and then a different angle the next time, you have no option to do so. I would like to see true adjustability as you may want different angles for a book vs a laptop or between different users. The plastic itself is nothing special. This wouldn’t be a bad product for under 10 bucks, but at this price, it’s disappointing.

I am pretty happy with the quality of this tray for the peloton! It sits on top relatively comfortably with no issues.
Included in the box is the actual tray holder itself, as well as six foam blocks with preapplied adhesive. You can put two on the bottom to help support it against the rail of the peloton, then add more on the bottom of each block to increase the angle of the tray. This does feel a little less stable the more blocks you add, so I was hoping for a more reliable and less permanent sort of adjustment. The tray itself is also made of plastic, so it does flex noticeably when you use it with any heavier items or a large amount of force, like resting your arms on it. It would have been more ideal to have some form of rigidity to help it maintain its stability as well.
Overall, it does do the job well enough. It does not wobble around as much as I thought it would once installed, but it isn’t exactly the most robust in terms of functionality or durability. Nonetheless, it is a very useful tray that works better than the alternatives I have seen for sale. I would definitely recommend it if you need a tray for your peloton.
