I did a lot of research before making my purchase. This was what was important to me:

This checked ALL the boxes!! I used it as soon as it came in. I work from home, and placed it under my desk and walked on it as I worked. Before I knew it, I walked 2 miles. My 6′, 240 lb husband ran on this treadmill and it was so sturdy and performed so well! It goes up to 7.6 mph! And when you push the stop button, it isn’t a hard stop, but a gradual one. If you pull the emergency cord, it is a hard stop. The quality far exceeded my expectations! The only cons I saw was that it was a little heavier at almost 60 lbs when I saw most were under 50 lbs and that the stability bar does not lock when it’s folded down. So when the treadmill is being stored upright, the pad part itself can move forward from the wall, away from the bar. We created a home made tie down strap, attaching it with a bungee cord hook to the metal bar underneath the pad so that it stays put against the wall behind the door, preventing any accidents from happening. There is a little slack so there isn’t a lot of tension on that bar (and could possibly damage or bend it) which is what we wanted. It works well. Just have to also remember that when you’re moving the treadmill, to hold the walking pad part and not just the stability bar. Bought the Amazon 2 year protection plan for $26.99 but learned that it comes with a one year manufacturer warranty, which was a nice surprise, as it wasn’t listed. You will not regret this purchase!!

Unpacking/Assembly
The box that this treadmill is shipped in is protected with custom made polyurethane foam pieces to insure that it is not damaged in shipment.
There is really no assembly required for this product. The assembly in the supplied instructions for me was more for out to setup for operation and storage. You are only minutes away from exercise when you get this out of the packaging. There is maintenance kit supplied with the unit that includes silicon oil and hex wrench. These items are only used for preventative maintenance and not needed until significant use has resulted. Lock the upright in place, connect to your household power outlet and you are ready to go. It is that simple and no tools are required.
The uprights that hold the controls and tablet holders is constructed of steel and painted for protection. It provides a nice and secure feeling when it is being used and retracted for storage. That is one of big pluses for this unit is in the way the uprights are effective during operation and quickly rotated flat for storage. The uprights are locked into place with a quick turn on the toggle locks. The lock has 2 positions (lock/unlocked) that restricts the movement. There are toggle locks for each side that also give it a firm lock when it is being used or stored. If you had a storage spot that could handle a 55 inch x 26.5 inch x 3.75 inch, you can treadmill out of the way and out of sight
Operation
This treadmill operates at fairly low noise level and should not disturb others in your house. During use it is remains in its location and is firmly planted to the floor. The belt tracks well and have not seen any side movement during our use of several hours. There are several large pads that support the frame that protects the floor underneath.
The unit has a digital readout that gives performance information of Speed, Calories, Time, and Distance. It is located at the bottom front of the base and can be easily seen from the standing position. You can control the speed, start, and stop from the handheld remote control or the control panel just below the reading stand. The remote control has a neat and well thought out location in the base of the unit that it is held in place when not in use. So many times you can’t find where a remote is and this solves that for you in this dedicated pocket. You can also leave it there during operation and just use the controls on the stand. There is also safety cord that if attach it to your clothing, the unit will stop if it is detached from it’s magnetic base. If you don’t want to use that feature, the cord can be wrapped around the upper support.
Storage
The unit would be ideal for a user that did not have space for exercise in their location. This unit could easily be placed under a couch or closet for storage. It has on its front edge a set of rollers that allow the unit to be positioned without lifting or dragging. The rollers will contact the floor when the unit is raised on the back edge and angled upward. This is nothing to engage or retract when it comes to the storage rollers.
Construction
The frame of the unit is steel, painted, and most importantly has welded construction. The gives the unit its firm feel during operation and storage. The unit is skinned nicely with plastic covers that are not fragile. The belt has a small grid pattern texture and is effective in providing a non-skid surface.
Conclusion
The unit checks all of the boxes for ease of use, rigid construction, and performance. I don’t think you can go wrong if you are looking for big gym performance in a small footprint. This would be perfect in an apartment situation, office space, or living room. We also own a large gym grade Pro-form unit that is large, heavy, and loud during operation. We can’t to sell the Pro-form unit at the next yard sale.

J’ai acheté ce tapis car je sort d’une hernie et mes journées trop chargées (ainsi que pe temps pourri) ne me permettent pas de sortir assez et je dois remuscler mon dos. Il me convient surtout parce que mon appartement est petit et sans rangement (il passe sous mon lit malgrès les moteurs imposants du lit !!!) pour le moment il fait ce qu’il doit faire. En revanche 6kms ce n’est pad pour les courreurs. J’etais une coureuse sans être grande sportive donc si je peux reprendre la course un jour ce ne sera pas sur ce tapis. En revanche pour ceux qui veulent juste faire de la marche rapide ou comme moi faire de la reeducation il est parfait. Je marche à 1.5 pour le moment car je ne peux pas plus mais ça me permet de voir ma progression. À voir comment il va durer dans le temps.

This has been a great treadmill for intermittent use. It’s very slim, folds down into a compact height, has a shelf for holding a phone or book, has good default intervals of MPH and a magnetic emergency stop you can clip to your clothes, and is generally user friendly in the interface. It’s also nice that the main on/off switch is hidden away so small kids can’t accidentally turn it on.
The only tough thing is adding the lubricant to grease the belt every few months. The instructions describe lifting the belt manually to get the lubricant as close to center as possible, which is really difficult. And the bottle that it comes in makes it hard to see how many drops you’ve applied. An easier way to get around this is to have your own flat tool and apply the right amount of drops to it, then slip it under the belt as far in as possible.
Another minor issue is that adjusting the belt when it becomes off-center involves rereading the instructions to recollect which side to insert the allen wrench and which direction to turn it a certain number of times, etc. But once completed, it’s a relatively reliable fix.
Latest issue: The treadmill doesn’t really mention a maximum speed, but after using it once going a few MPH higher than the top preset for an extended intense workout, the machine kind of bugged out a little and then started randomly stopping at times, which is concerning in terms of safety/balance. An EO2 error message is now popping up about changing out the motor. But in revisiting the order details, the customer service phone number goes to a dial tone (“call not able to be completed as dialed”), their website has a broken link for “Write Us,” and there’s no product support available via their Amazon interface. This was $400 so hopefully TheRun has some assistance because this needs a troubleshooting option given the young lifecycle of our machine.
