- WALKINGPAD R1 Pro is our first Walking Pad product that combines running and walking forms. While perfectly realizing running functions, R1 Pro’s foldable features allow it to become an ideal light treadmill. You no longer need to reserve a separate gym room at home, and R1 will enable you to run anyplace you can plug in.
- Folding Treadmill – With the ability to fold 180 degrees, WalkingPad R1 Pro significantly reduces occupied space and floor area, making it easy to move around and store. There’s no assembly required, and with 2 bottom wheels, you can have the treadmill in the living room or in the bedroom, wherever you feel like walking briskly.
- Walking Treadmill – The WalkingPad R1 Pro has 2 modes to meet your different exercising needs. When the handrail is folded, the treadmill can be used as an under desk treadmill with a speed of 0.5 – 3.7 mph. When the handrail is raised, the speed range is 0.5 – 6.2 mph, and you can run to reach your fitness goal.
- Manual Control and Automatic Control – The WalkingPad R1 Pro can be controlled in three ways. Under manual mode, it can be controlled using the remote control or the KS Fit APP. The speed interval is 0.5 mph, so it can be ideal for beginners. Alternatively, R1 Pro can be controlled by feet under the auto mode, thanks to an integrated pressure sensor.
- LED Display – With LED panel incorporated, WalkingPad R1 Pro provides you with enhanced visual to monitor your steps, speed, distance and workout time. 4 layers footboard provides comfort to the athlete and protects your joints. Other forms of protection include child lock, speed limit, emergency stop cable and automatic standby.

I love my new walking pad! I purchased this walking pad to help me stay moving during the busy holiday season and cold winter months. As a busy, working mom, my time for fitness is limited to super-early mornings when it is still dark out. The walking pad has been a great solution for me to fit in a brisk walk for 30-45 minutes before my family is wakes up. It can go up to 6.2 mph, so I can also run if I am feeling motivated. I have also found that I can “take a walk” while catching up on the news on tv, watching Sunday football with my husband or listening to a podcast or audio book. Such a great, healthy way to multitask! The walking pad was easy to setup and is a great size. It is on the heavy side, so it is not something you want to be packing up and moving around all of the time, even though it can be folded up and put away. My kids also love going on the walking pad. So very happy with this purchase!

This is a good treadmill, but you have to download an app to have more precise controls or have more speed options.

I shopped around for ages trying to find the best option for my space. I got a remote job and knew this was my chance to move more AND work at the same time. This is an ideal walking pad if you need to store it – folding is easy (the rails are a little hard to get up and down but that is one of my only complaints). It does time out at 2 hours but honestly that is a great time to take a break and rest your feet. The other complaint I have is the app – it’s a little wonky and disconnects pretty easy but all you need to do is hit the M or A button on the walking pad and it will reconnect easily. The one real flaw on this is the tiny wheels – you cannot roll this around easily but you can lift it if you are able – it is heavy. All in all, I give this a 8 out of 10 and does the job.

I had to have back surgery and bought this to assist with my recovery. It’s been great for walking. The handle was nice to have, especially in the weeks right after surgery. I upgraded to this model specifically for the handle. It’s been a lot easier on my back to walk on rather than concrete or asphalt. I initially was looking at lower priced units but landed on walking pad for a couple reasons 1) wide walking area (I never realized how much I don’t walk straight), foldability (which can be scary from a quality perspective). This unit is definitely on the heavier side, but since I have it in my living room, its definitely nice to be able to fold it if I need to. Also highly recommend placing it on the exercise pad especially if you’re on wood floors. The unit is pretty quiet though I’m only halfway to the max speed. The one downside the app is pretty bare bones and its a bit weird that the remote functions aren’t part of the app. Quick tip, if the app doesn’t want to connect to the pad I turn the pad off/on and that usually does the trick.

I liked how sturdy it was and it definitely got the job done
I bought it came broken. And was not easy to return. I was very sad about this. –
It came broken. And was a Hassel to return. All I can say is keep the box.

I bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas. She’s a marathon runner and is starting to train for her next race, we needed something that could fold up small and she was able to move around, the WalkingPad fit the bill. She’s been using it 3-4 times per week from short walks and runs to 6-7 mile jogs on longer training days. She says it feels nice, and really enjoys it. She’s been able to move it around the apartment quite a bit and when she’s done it folds up and is out of the way. The only issues she’s had so far is one episode of lost connection between the WalkingPad and her phone. She didn’t have the other remote handy so she had to jump off. A reset solved the problem.
I haven’t used it but I do have two concerns. It makes this horrible sound when you fold it up. I worry each time that i’m breaking it. I think there’s some kind of hard foam that provides stability, but it sounds like it’s screaming in pain each time I fold it up. Aside from the anxious experience there has been no issues with the belt at all yet. The App seemed a little shoddy to me when we were setting it up, but she’s had no issues with it.
Hard for me to recommend it at the almost $1,000 I originally saw it for, especially with some slightly larger treadmills being less than $250. I managed to get it for around $500 and it’s been pretty great.

I like it a lot because it’s easy to use.
