This thing is solid metal with very little plastic, rides well, has a good comfort to it, and gets the job done. It could use a tray or something for phones and water bottles and the seat is mid comfort wise but both can be remedied. I am over 6 ft tall and 230lbs and it works for me. Also doesn’t take up much space and is easy to assemble.

… this was pretty hard to put together, which I expected. But I uttered several bad words while building this. However, now that it’s done I think it will end up being a good purchase. It feels a little flimsy, but again, I figured it would feel less sturdy than what you’d find in a gym.
It’ll work for us at home.

I really like this air bike. For the price I don’t think you can really go wrong with it. It seems well built and doesn’t move at all even when going full out for HIIT intervals, etc. I’d say it took me about an hour to put it together by myself, and that includes about 15-20 min of unboxing/cleaning up (a ratcheting wrench comes in very handy). Thankfully, most of the base is put together–that part is very heavy, so some might prefer having 2 people to get it out of the styrofoam and getting it into place somewhere.
Keep in mind that there is no adjustment lever or anything; resistance goes up as you cycle harder. Also, if you’re used to a spin bike and like to get up off the seat at times, it’s awkward to do with this machine.
Unfortunately, there’s no water bottle holder or phone/tablet holder. Sometimes I do longer bouts of steady state cardio and it would be nice to have a place to put my phone for watching something or skipping ads in a podcast.
One thing that’s a little annoying but not a deal breaker is that the arm movement isn’t as smooth as I’d like. The way the machine is built, the arms “catch” at the bottom/top of each full push/pull. I haven’t tried many air bikes so I don’t know if that’s normal or not.
Again, for the price, I’d say get it. It seems well built and it gives a great workout.

Don’t waste your time and your money on this bike. We bought it really excited to use it in the comfort of our own home. My husband spent about a hour setting it up only to find out that the belt wasn’t on properly so when you spun the medals, there was no resistance. We then spent over 2 hours struggling to get the bike apart and prying the belt back into place. Finally got it on after a lot of cuts and bruises (I’m not kidding about the bruises. It looked like I got into a fight). We hopped on the bike and spun the medals ONCE just for it to literally pop right back off! Requested a return right after that. It’s a shame cause it seemed like everything else was in great shape and quality.

I’ve purchased a variety of home gym equipment over the years, and I’ve sold more than I’ve kept. I try to buy quality hardware. I’ve had a treadmill, an elliptical, a bow-style resistance trainer, and a variety of free weights and Olympic sets. I’ve had gym memberships and experience with commercial-grade products. I’m an engineer and I have a pretty good idea of what will last and stand up to heavy use. This Airbike nails it. I took my time and shopped around, compared build quality, design, and materials between name brands and competing models. I must say, of all the equipment purchases I’ve made, this is one of the best. I love this bike. It’s solid, smooth, it came well-packaged and was very easy to assemble. It’s commercial-grade, IMO. It’s well worth the money because the materials and finish are top-notch. Do not hesitate to buy this model.

PROS:
Commercial quality. Well-made and thus far durable. Heavy gauge steel where required. It’s heavy.
Simple to use display that can be programed/customized for your workout. Just bike, time, distance, intervals, etc.
Yes, it will give you a workout like you read about. The harder you peddle or row, the harder it gets. You can put your feet up on the pegs and only use your arms.
Would I buy it again? Absolutely!!!
CONS:
Since it is either commercial quality or nearly so, the most comfortable seat position (up & down) may challenging to achieve. The distance between the seat adjustment settings is about an inch. So, if you’re used to a mountain/road bike seat post, you may not get the position you are completely comfortable with. The seat does forward and backward like a normal bicycle.
The CONS are minor and don’t detract from getting out what you put into it.
ASSEMBLY TIPS:
The bike came extremely well packaged. Ensure you check all of the packaging for assembly materials.
If you’re assembling this by yourself (I did), you’ll need the following: 1) Two pads or blankets to assemble the bike on (the base is not attached and it will scratch a floor or snag a carpet). 2) A socket set and separate open-faced 11-13mm crescent wrenches (or an adjustable crescent) makes assembly easier. 3) As mentioned in previous reviews — liquid thread lockers to keep the nuts/bolts in place. 4) A box cutter or knife to remove the packing tape. 5) Needle-nosed pliers. 6) Philips head screw driver – small.
I hope the above helps. The bike is exactly what I wanted. I follow the maintenance plan in the manual and so far I have had no problems.

Update: Months later still love it, incredible workout and I jump rope between sets it’s brutal
Smooth operation, like the watt meter, hit 1100 so far and its a better workout than sprinting imagine that 10 sets of 20 seconds max effort is an absolutely awesome workout

I needed an exercise bike but I didn’t want to spend $800.00, this was great at a little over 200. It has a set resistance but that’s OK, it will give you a workout. It is sturdy and easy to assemble and does what it is supposed to, great value
